That's a very good point, because we don't yet know whether these statements really help put this behind us...or rip the club apart from within, again!

aHHH Bollocks! Why did you have to go and bring this up?!

Seriously calm down would you, whens the last time can your remember the club being in the spot light for really the wrong reasons, its completly understandable that our sponsors and our owners would want to put this matter to bed and send a clear message, ok we are sorry lets move on.

**** happens, we are all grown ups, some times you have to take one for the team, this time we are all taking one for the club which we all love.

        We shall see.

edit: Still think he makes a valid point though.

edit2: I am calm by the way, they're just words.

I can't believe standard charter fecking snakes!

1st when they insisted we buy some asians or a star player to boost them in asia. Feck off with being told who to buy! Then a Kit design that incorporates their own colours [guess work].

Now this. Fecking snakes. Feck off!

On BBC NW Barnes makes the point that apology was for not shaking hands and not for the original incident.

regarding the handshake on saturday the only explanation i've heard and it makes sense.first of all remember its the home team that brakes ranks to shank hands first no matter who it is.anyway back to saturday if they had done things the normal way by the time evra and saurez came to shake hands they would have been as far from the ref as possible before kick off(remember saurez was 2nd to last lfc player) so if there was any trouble it would have taken the ref a second or two to get there.but because of the way they did it on saturday the ref was right on the spot when things looked like they could flair up and he grabbed evra's arm and defused things.if the ref did this off own head i think he deserves some praise for it.
                        who's arsed?

also the apology wasn't really directed to manu if you read it again not once do they say sorry to manu, dalglish says sorry for the way he conducted the interview.saurez says he should have shaken evra's hand but doesn't say sorry to evra,if anything he saying sorry to us fans for the way he conducted himself.

Listened to Talksport on the way home..

Durham responding to LFC tweets, asking to move on and why are we still discussing it after the apologies etc..

Like a red rag to a Tit Head Bull..

"Why only now, do LFC fans want to move on, why didn't they want to move on after Suarez was found guilty, why didn't they want to move on after the non handshake instead of posting twitter pics" etc..

It's like I'm wanting to listen to what Journo's, Radio, Twitters, Facebookers, Friends, are having to say, so I can put my two penneth worth in and try and defend LFC..It's a head wreck..

Shaggy done the right thing, in having a complete media blackout.. Although for someone who spends his life on the social media, I doubt he really did..

I had a pube on Facebook saying he hadn't heard a single Liverpool fan talking common sense about the Suarez issue yesterday.

I replied, 'Is it because they don't agree with you?' Haven't had a response.

I know how you feel Shanks. As long as we apply how we've dug for evidence and considered other viewpoints onto other cases in the future, then we can hold our heads up high.
