I can't shake the feeling that Ayre is equally as culpable if not more so in the way this was handled.

If they go it will be in that order. As an MD Ayre has handled it badly and probably advised Comolli badly who has inturn done the same thing to Kenny who did the same to SaurezOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostI will be stunned if Ayre, Suarez and Kenny are all here come the summer. Not saying they'll all go but I'm certain at least one will. Get the impression FSG are not impressed with this unholy mess.
Pissed off.

Wow. We basically left him out in the cold for vultures to eat him alive.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post
I'm completely gutted by this statement. MUFC would never ever do this to one of his players...
The more and more it looks that way.Originally posted by Imy View PostAnyone else think Suarez wont be playing for us next season?
I would be terribly upset if he goes.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

I hope more than anything you're right man.Originally posted by Chris View PostPeople really need to relax on this he'll leave stuff, we'll win a cup in 2 weeks and everyone will be smiling again. He'll always be the pantomine villain but it doesnt mean he's leaving.
Agreed. Ayre is supposed to be the CEO and he's supposed to show leadership. The first time he's opened in his mouth in all of this is to lay into Suarez. I imagine Luis is feeling pretty pissed off at the club, from the way we failed to prepare him properly for the case to this latest shambles.Originally posted by fah-q View PostI can't shake the feeling that Ayre is equally as culpable if not more so in the way this was handled. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Agreed, and think this is an effort at making it so rather than hanging Suarez out to dry. It's far more dangerous to keep this going for week after week, at least this way it'll be news for a few more days then done again.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostI still think it'll blow over.
We've had England stars shagging grannies, utd stars shagging Bro's wives, players doing time for murder and playing football again.
This will pass, eventually.

There were other ways to express the apology without turning Luis into an absolute villan.
It seems like we are washing hands off him and I don't like that at all.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

For all you know Ayre, Kenny and Luis must have spoken and said. **** all this Luis we trust you but we will put out a different statement to the press to feed them with what they want. Happens all the time at big firms when the bigger picture (reputation) is at stake.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostI still think it'll blow over.

AFAIK if Suarez is happy and scoring goals and winning things, he will stay he's not a meek character.Patience when teased often, transforms into rage

Think it's obvious the statement from Suarez and what the club is saying has been worked out before hand, Suarez will have hopefully been told the club is still backing him, believes in his innocence, but that right now needs must, after all it's the handshake were talking about here, not the racial accusation.Originally posted by Chris View PostAgreed, and think this is an effort at making it so rather than hanging Suarez out to dry. I just think others will see it like that also, and won't accept the apology.
But yes, it will pass.
