Impossible position really now the handshake didn't take place, whoevers fault it was it's going to be Suarez as the bad guy again and LFC as in the wrong for backing him.

The whole case boils down to which version of events you believe from the initial incident. The FA assumed one version was 100% true and the other 100% false, this was the wrong thing to do and this entire situation has IMO resulted from this.

with the non-handshake (or Suarez' defiance in the face of injustice, as he would call it), you would hope that some people may look beyond it all, fanciful I know, and probably question their initial assumptions and question the fact that what came out of that FA hearing was, in fact, nothing more than agenda-driven mockery of what stands for a supposed independent judiciary.
You done the right thing Luis as far as I'm concerned (would have a little bit of a question mark if he explicitly told Kenny he was going to shake hands - but that's between the two of them, and its still a personal decision in the end).
If the game was being played tomorrow, I would hope he'd do the same thing.

I was just wondering regarding all that handshake malarky, does free speech come into this at any point? He is not saying or doing anything wrong, no one can force him to interact with someone he doesn't want to. He is told that an appeal will lengthen his ban and that he must shake hand with Evra, the instigator in all of this. I wonder if this can be put into context with regarding free speech?
              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I thing I thought about the handshake was... in the view of media sturring, how often do sky actually show it?

They normally nip of for another quick hit on a money making advert inbetween players entering the field and kickoff.

They wanted to get it on live, as suspect if he had or hadnt shaken, they would have had an angle on it all.

it's been blown up because it makes the rags money pure and simple IMO. Whatever we do or try to do in defence of Suarez will be used against us again it'll make them more money.

The truth or facts are almost irrelevant as a mob mentality has been created towards Suarez and Liverpool at the moment.

Is there really going to be a debate in parliament about the FA?

PFA chairman Clarke Carlisle, who plays for Northampton Town, said the refusal to shake hands "undermined" the Respect campaign.

He said: "This was a chance to signal to thousands of fans in the ground that the two men had settled things in a sensible manner. This stupid snub has exacerbated things.

"I'm bitterly disappointed. This was a chance to draw a line in the sand.

"We expect all our members to cross over the white line and represent themselves, their club and our national game with an element of pride, dignity and respect."

Talks about 'a stupid snub' and then has the temerity to talk about pride and dignity..............oh the irony !
