How about **** off you bunch of illiterate, hyperboling ****houses. Discrimination and prejudice against Uruguayans.

LIVERPOOL FC should issue an unreserved apology to Manchester United footballer Patrice Evra, a high-profile group of local and national black leaders has said.

An open letter delivered to the club and manager Kenny Dalglish accuses Liverpool FC of grossly mishandling the Luis Suarez row and said it has contributed to the “incitement of racism in football and the wider society”.

The group which is led by Liverpool campaigner Gloria Hyatt said LFC need to accept the findings of the FA investigation and offer an immediate and unreserved apology to Evra.

Gloria Hyatt said: “Liverpool Football Club has presided over the worst incident of racism in football seen in recent years.

“Their misguided handling of the Suarez and Evra saga has let down all of those in the city who work hard to challenge racism and to make Liverpool a better place to live for everyone.”

Lee Jasper, national human rights and equality campaigner, said: “The club, including the owners, the players and the manager need to realise the enormous damage caused by their reluctance and obdurate behaviour.

“Kenny Dalglish used to manage Celtic, he ought to know the importance of stamping out bigotry.

“The club failed the city, the nation as a whole, and in particular Britain’s black communities.

“Their abysmal lack of leadership on these issues has given a green light to racism.

“They must make urgent reparations and make a clear and unequivocal apology.”

I know these people have a worthy cause at their heart, but it's they who are misguided imo, they are so desperate to keep it all in the lime light that they ignore the rights of Suarez all together.

Telling us to accept the verdict ffs, the cheek of them! Would be nice if one, just one of these groups actually acknowledged that Suarez was convicted on the most dubious of practices and evidence!

              Fools.

They've obviously seen that the subject isn't getting the same amount of air time or news time, not enough people professing horror and disgust! so have now come out with this.

Because he's a nobody, who wants to be a somebody. He's just trying to give himself media exposure.

I know what you mean. The fact that Suarez has come out and said sorry for not shaking his hand should put this 'Evra moving his hand so it was his fault' business to bed.

Well actually, I'm not convinced the club didn't "push" Suarez into saying that, but anyway I wish the whole thing would just **** off now.

I think it was a club stance and the right one regardless of fault we were always going to be blamed.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I can't believe that anti-racism group were on the local news! Then they interviewed a black woman who said the incident was bad for the community and had left a sour taste then two white women who said that the incident hadn't made any difference.

The people from the anti-racism organisation should read the FA's report before they start slagging LFC and Luis Suarez off. Do they agree with injustice? They're advocating the persecution of a man who has been found guilty of breaching FA rules without any proof whatsoever in circumstances where providing proof would be infinitely easier than not. If this is the attitude of our community groups then THEY are going to stir up racial tension far more locally than the nonsensical rubbish reported about Suarez has. I don't know anybody who has accepted Evra or the FA's version of events, it's not just what we want or don't want to believe - based on the evidence nothing happened.

Was it the same anti-racism group from today's Echo article? (See previous page if not sure).
