It's a dire result no doubt and turning into an average start to the season. We need to do much better but calling for KK's head at this stage is idiotic. Give the man a full ****ing season, what have we got to lose?

I could slap a wall today, the dog's lucky it's dead. For nearly 20 years we've been making these newly promoted ****e look good.

Give him more time to build the team he wants.

      Success won't come overnight mate.
We don't have that time. Finishing fourth this season is more or less a must or else we will be miles off the best teams in the league.

Missing out on CL football three years in a row is simply a disaster. The players we need will turn us down because they will see that we aren't playing in the CL.

I wouldn't started this thread if I thought that we had time to build up the squad but we don't.

This season is one of our most important ever. How much will playing in the CL or not affect the stadium naming rights? How much less will we get if we miss out, again.

We won't be able to afford to sign the best players without the CL money because of the new rules. Playing in the CL next season is simply a must.
      Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

Kenny IMO needs to do two things.

1, Change his transfer signing strategy, buying British clearly hasn't worked we spunked massive money on unproven potential and so far only Suarez and Jose have paid off

2, Make positive substitutions earlier, taking Hendo off at half time today was encouraging, we need to see Bellamy more often too.

Kenny out is waaaay OTT though IMO.

I can see this thread going well.

I think we all agree that some of Kenny's tactics have been questionable this season, but look at what he did for us last year when he came in. I had reservations about him coming back and I do think there's better managers out there, but let's cut him some slack. He deserves some time for what he did last season alone.

I think it's difficult to mention the signings (even though I'm not massively impressed by them), but we don't know the facts as to who signs them / how the Kenny & Comolli relationship works.

One of things imo he got wrong today.

I also thought that he should've brought in Bellamy way earlier.

He needs more time to make his impact.

                  promoting british kids - yes

buying overvalue and overrated players just because they are british needs to stop.

There is a reason why the England, Scotland and Wales have won nothing for years.

Kenny isn't what we need. He won't be a success. Nothing to do with Rafa.

Kenny is simply not good enough. It was a gamble making him our manager and it is a gamble that backfired.

                    We need a new manager.

If there was one person on the site who was going to twitch first about the managerial appointment, we all knew it would be Arn. Take it for what it is.

As far as Kenny goes, it isn't going amazingly well, but it isn't going dreadfully either. We're stuck in an average rut at the moment and seem to be struggling against small teams and doing ok against the bigger teams - its what we've been like for the best part of 20 years, save for the Rafa title tilt and our robotic winning streaks we could go on.

Even at the start of Rafa's run though Arn, we struggled. His vision hadn't been realised, and the nearest we got to it was that period between 07 and 09. It was anomalous in comparison to what we've served up over the last couple of decades.

Time and patience, and maybe forget about Rafa. he isn't coming back Arn.

As i said in the post match thread it should be back to the drawing board for Kenny. It's obviously not working at home - so what can be done to change it?

Changing formation and personnel would be a start, trying to play to players strengths would be another.
                            We come not to play.

Arn genuine question, do you think Rafa would have us in a better position than we are now?

(I'm presuming that's who he wants to manage us)
