My point is, even in Rafa's spell, we struggled in the first season. We struggled in Houllier's first season. Its very, very rare that new managerial teams come in and start winning everything and challenging straight away.
some of the signings are questionable, but if its viewed as a squad building exercise, we're doing that. there's more depth and we're building.
I'm still ****ed off at drawing with ****e like Norwich and Swansea though. But, we've also lost those games in the past.

How predictable the original poster gets attacked for having the temerity to call for Dalglish to go. Great player yes. **** manager and needs to go before he causes any more damage.
If we had drawn at home to Sunderland, Norwich and Swansea scoring 2 goals in the process under Hodgson people wouldn't hesitate to call for his dismissal but not Dalglish.
I don't recall us getting tanked 4 0 under Hodgson either.
Dalglish has wasted £85 million on dross. Considering the Suarez deal was done before he took over, his only decent signing has been Enrique. That's a pretty poor record. For example, who would you rather spend £35 million on - Aguero or the Carroll?

I said this in the post match thread but the formation and style he adopted at the back end of last season was looking effective. A couple of tweaks and it could have been devastating. I'd love us to have had last seasons style with someone like Javi Martinez in with Lucas and anyone other than Downing on the left.
Course the money has been spent now so chances of that happening are zero.
But suggesting that we kick out Kenny is a joke, although he's got a real job on his hands now.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Oh dear, we were 14th and 4 points off relegation zone under Hodgson, we are 6th, in the cup quarter final and 3 points off 4th. Not great but hardly a disaster.Originally posted by tbounce View PostHow predictable the original poster gets attacked for having the temerity to call for Dalglish to go. The Aguero question is cringeworthy aswell, ones on about 80k a week, the other 200k.

2, Make positive substitutions earlier, taking Hendo off at half time today was encouraging, we need to see Bellamy more often too.
Kenny out is waaaay OTT though IMO.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The point is under Hodgson our football was terrible, we didn't attack and played like a mid table team.
Are you a member of the LMA?The times they are a changin'.

What?
Signing Maradona is every bit as likely as signing Aguero. And anyone that calls for Kenny's head at this stage is indeed a cunt.

There's nothing wrong with questioning Kenny, he's the boss and the buck stops with him. Same as when people were questioning Wenger.
So Maradona is an active player who was transferred for £35m in the last year?We come not to play.
