If we beat Chelsea, Newcastle and Arsenal then that is a massive boost to get 4th because its all points our nearest challengers can get.

CL v Winning cups - well CL has to be the priority. Sooner we get back in the CL the sooner we can stop relying on others to stop Utd winning the league and start challenging ourself.

Its quite sad that we have had to rely on others doing that for so long. The extra benefit is for ever time we qualify it means someone like Arsenal or Chelsea wont qualify and that will hurt them with FFP.

I admire your courage and optimism but I will never ever ever again assume that we are going to win something after the 2 painful experiences of the Wimbledon FA cup final and losing the league in the last seconds of the last game against Arsenal.

I remember those 2 lows as clearly as I remember the the highs of the Istanbul final and beating Borussia Mönchengladbach in Rome.

We haven't won anything yet, the players still need to go out and put in a performance at Wembley.

As an aside, haven't Cardiff been to the new Wembley before for playoffs and we've never been before?

Can't not see us getting 4th.
I don't know if we'll get 4th but I don't think we'll need 71 points to do it this year. I think 68 might be enough.

If anyone fancies toying around with the BBC predictor to see how results in matches between the main protaganists affect everything then here is the link.

Its not accessible on the new format pages but the link still works from history/google cache etc

So we will still need another 30 pts from 15 Games.

I Still think we need a ******* 15 game winning run

That would give us 45 points

I'll take that But no way would we get 4th with 45 points, we'd be higher up than that

On the assumption we win the next 15 I have managed to work out a scenario where we win the title, Wolves, West Brom and Bolton go down! MAKE IT HAPPEN

I think we can win all of these games, obviously we wont but the only games which really worry me are,Spurs, Sunderland away and United but with United anything can happen, Spurs are just a scary team, we will need to be on point both tactically and individually. The rest are all mental because we are a better team than all of them and if we play to our potential and make our own luck, should beat them. Why not

I don't think 2 teams have ever got over 90 points in the same season have they?

That would be quite incredible if that happened.
