Not really arsed about a holding midfielder, we were hardly perfect with Lucas in the team anyway. If the oppo getting a lot of long shots is all we have to worry about defensively we are not doing to bad. Get a quality attacker.

We lack real quality both in the middle and up front. A striker is the priority obviously but we need a quality midfielder too, Fernando Reges is apparently a real possibility next month, he is exactly the kind of player we need IMO. Perhaps it's just me but a midfield of Spearing, Adam and Henderson doen't exactly inspire me.

The problem for me is that our best chance of scoring goals is when Suarez, Bellamy & Maxi all play together, when Kenny's stubborness subsides & he plays those 3 together then we have a MUCH better chance of scoring goals imo...

we are playing gash, but are still just of fourth place. January window looking crucial, and acting early in it also.

Our main priority should be some silverware this season.

So it is achievable if we can start scoring. I keep thinking that one day we'll get a few goals and we'll start scoring for fun. Our chance creation is overrated, the chance we create are not always good ones and commonly created by Suarez.
It is not just a case of bad finishing, it is a case of lack of quality in midfield.

I like how the press are still talking about Chelsea and the title, whereas us - just 3 behind them - aren't good enough for the top 4.

Chelsea and Arsenal are within our range for sure, Spurs i'm not so sure about. If they win their 2 games in hand, they'll be 10 points ahead of us. Very strong unit they have, with some class players & will probably strengthen in January, interesting to see what Modric will do?

For me Scotty Parker has been the difference for them, big fan of him the chap has been outstanding for them and was exactly what they needed in the midfield. I think SPurs are playing a lovely brand of football, oul Harry gets a bit of stick for not being a tactical genius, but he has them playing some nice stuff.

Arsenal just drew with Wolves, a win for us on Friday means we go 5th and are level on points with the Chavs in 4th. We most definetely are still in the mix for a top 4 finish.

After 18 games being 3 points behind Chelsea in Fourth and 2 behind Arsenal in fifth. It's hardly a ****ing disaster is is?
