The way the Chavs are playing it looks as though will be fighting it out with Spurs & Arsenal but I think Spurs will be the ones that might run out of steam, not Arsenal. So hopefully if we can just start picking up points instead of giving them away, we can pip Spurs & Chavski to 4th.
    So my prediction is:
    1.) City
    2.) Dogs
    3.) Arsenal
    4.) Chavs or Spurs
Changed my prediction as the more I see stubborn Kenny not playing Maxi & the inconsistency of the team I am inclined to think that we will finish 6th at best...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

still fancy us for 4th or 3rd (the other team being chelsea) as spurs will lose modric to the chavs in january IMO which will demoralise them, the arse are having a purple patch but if any injuries, bans or man city making an offer for van persie and they will also be ****ed.

we're playing good, we have stevie g to come back still for second half of season and i strongly beleive we will buy in january to the tune of 3 players.

I'd say it's unlikely we'll spend heavily in Jauary but if we do bring in 2/3 quality players then our chances of a top 4 finish will increase (still not a given though).

I cant see Modric leaving in January, nor now wanting to join Chelsea.

Spurs and Newcastle won't be in the top four at the end of the season, we're competing with Chelsea and Arsenal for third and fourth and I think that we're capable of finishing above both of them. We haven't clicked yet, we could and should go on a decent run during the second half of the season.

Spurs will be up there imo.

Spurs look a more complete team at the moment IMO. Arsenal are reliant on V.Persie.

We can get 3rd or 4th but not the way we are playing now. We need to seriously up our game if we are going to stay in the mix and it's dangerous to rely on others slipping up.

I think he still want to join them but I cannot see Spurs letting him go in January.

Newcastle will fall away, but I think Spurs will be up there until the end, and have a decent chance of finishing in the top 4.

Have to say looking at the recent defensive record it feels like Kenny is building the side a little bit like Rafa did in so far they've really got the back 4 solid and working well first then move towards sorting the attaking side of things out.

We're a damn tough side to beat but we don't score enough goals very similar IMO to the early days of Rafa. Hope we can get a finisher in this Jan as that would really help us.

Although I’m not suggesting that they will keep it up, Arsenal are bedding in a lot of new players to their team especially in defence, so in theory you’d expect them to get stronger as these players settle.

Thankfully RVP will be injured soon enough and they have to rely on Chamakh and Gervinho. I bet that sends a shiver down the spine of every Arsenal fan.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The back four looks good, we have the best defensive record in the league at the moment, and as well as being solid defensively we have players who are capable of contributing in an attacking sense (Johnson, Enrique and Agger).

This defensive record is looking really promising now. I think a win in each of the next 3 games will put us into 4th or 3rd place. We are creating so many chances and we have to start being more clinical in putting them away. Still think Spurs will have a bad second half of the season and we will improve as it goes on. Its looking good.

Despite losing, Arsenal have impressed me today. Top 4 is gonna be harder than I thought.

We really were spoilt for a few years under Rafa.
