IF we play him in games in a row we risk losing him for a long period
Sadly thats the reality of the situation with Bellamy
Unfortunately it only shows our problems when we have to rely on 32 -year old player to rescue us that was originally signed only to be a cover and provide assistance when rest is need to our top players.
I agree, but the problem does boil down to buying **** players, for which, Kenny will have to take some stick unfortunately.
When you look at the players I just hope Kenny was railroaded into them by a mixture of Moneyball and comolli, becuase who ever suggested downing and Carroll neeed barring from transfer activity all together.

Bellamy was keen to express his gratitude of thanks to Kenny Dalglish and the Anfield medical team for protecting him and helping him be involved in the majority of the games so far this season.
He told liverpoolfc.tv: "I have been available for every single game which has been great for me. At the start of the season a lot of players set themselves targets such as goal tallies but I don't have any of that. I just want to be available for every single game because my fitness has been my biggest problem all of my career.
"I've had six knee operations and I missed a whole season with my hernia once so a lot of football has been taken away from me through injury, so I'm at the stage of my career where I just want to be available and want to be able to have a chance of playing every game.
"The manager and the medical staff at Liverpool have given me that chance and I am very grateful to them for that.
"I've always enjoyed my football and it's great playing for Liverpool under Kenny. I always try and work as hard as I can and do my best for this club."
yes but at least he is direct and creates space, we looked pathetic going forward and i am sure Stevie G would have had found him on a few occasions, granted he may have wasted them, but at least he would have had the movement to get there!
Kenny will deffo have to admit to a major cock up today , Imagine the response if the Dodge had bought that shower and played those tactics? That being said it's too early for me to start slagging KK off but some serious conversations must be had this week as to what direction the club wants to go because we deffo need a striker and its a MUST ( and I also need to spell definatly )

Maybe it about poor communication.. Comolli "Stewart Downing has shown very good stats over the past couple of years, would you like him" Kenny "Yeah I like him" Comolli "Done" "ps he cost £20m"
No..this is the point..where you don't say anything..as it gives people more reason to suspect you as a 'Manc WUM' as they will say you only ever post when we don't win.. :tut: :tut:
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
7 home draws out of 11.
Suarez has played in what 8 or 9 of those 11 games.
No good moaning at Carroll because today like the previous few games he got absolutely no service whatsoever.
Those tactics were terrible, everyone could see that as soon as the team was announced.
There would be anarchy if Hodgson or even Rafa had this home record and type of performances game after game
I think you also have to take into account the performances though in the main we've played well and attacked teams without converting the numerous chances we've made
In general we've deserved a lot more out of those home games than we have got
We pretty much got what we deserved under Hodgson - ****e football, ****e results

I suppose we should doff our cap in the direction of Stoke City; they set their stall up to defend and defend they did. Extremely well.
I think it's safe to say that Stoke will have been preparing for today's game with Carroll in mind. Can you imagine their delight when they found out Kuyt was leading our line?
Kuyt looks a different player this season; he's obviously not happy with his bit-part role in the team, which in turn is making him look off the pace. Any run made towards the box, he checked and loitered outside looking for the simple ball, only once did he really make an effort to get beyond the ball and for the majority of the first half, we ended up being reliant on Adam running from deep to have a threat in the box.
Kuyt is finished for me
A great servant for the club but his times up me thinks

Seriously you think the club is worth less today than when they bought it??
Their investment isnt losing money
Its revenues are increasing
They will look for long term ROI not immediate returns
I said months ago getting in the Champions League was not critical this year - desirable yes but not critical
Their plan is to grow the club long term
So you don't think they will spend money then?
My point was they will continue to invest if they want to move forward especially as the initial financial cash inflow is very important in first few years why we are still building the team.
I disagree about not getting into CL not being critical.
Sure we don't need CL to stay in existance but I think it is very much critical for us to make it as it would be third year in row we didn't make it and if we miss it out again not only we'll lose on very lucrative CL revenue but it will affect our other revenue streams from sponsorship deals, marketing, merchandise to fans base erosion and inability to sign quality players, which many will point out is the reason why were are where we are atm.
All these things combine will have impact on us due to FFPR as FSG seems very committed to run their business within those parameters.
