Watched the game tonight and the general play was abysmal. Tomorrow night seems like a much bigger game than the final. I'm nervous, but optimistic. We can't play as badly as we did against Bolton, hopefully Kenny's kick up the arse will do the trick.

I truly hope that Kenny doesn't try to be too elaborate and play players out of position or play a formation that shows them too much respect.

We need to go back to basics and play a system that the players are used to and know how to use against a team like this. 4231 for me with Gerrard behind Carroll is the best option

strangely - i right now, don't feel nervous or 'up for it'

it's bizarre, - it's a semi final at home against man city - there was a time when any big game we had i'd be booking the afternoon of work to start getting pissed/up for it and also booking the next day off to recover....

tonight however, right now i'm not really looking forward to it....the only way i see us going through is basically scraping by, which will have my nerves in shreds and to be honest I am planning on just getting home, having my tea, watching game and going bed and not going the pub

Oddly I'm feeling a bit non-plussed at the moment too. Not sure why. Maybe the Bolton result, but also the fact we've got United on Saturday may be overshadowing it. After all the Evra-Suarez **** I am beyond desperate to beat those *******s.

Tomorrow is Australia Day which means it's unAustralian to not drink beer when you're awake so I'll be getting up at 5:45am to watch a good stream (better ****ing well be one!).

yeah i think, right now - this is just a bit of calm before the storm isn't it.....

we had the Bolton game, which was a terrible thunder storm, it's cleared a bit, and now we have a ****ing full force hurricane about to hit.............Next four days are just massive for the club - we could lose both and by Sunday be on suicide watch, or win both and be buzzing....

I used to be super excited when big games/weeks came around like this though......right now i wish i could just hibernate and wake up sunday morning and see how got on
