The problem with putting Carragher there is his distribution is shocking

Its a tough call but Agger is the most talented defender we have (in terms of skill/vision etc..)

Can someone confirm for me, that if Citeh accept (don't appeal) Balotelli's ban, he will miss this game?

I heard that he has untill 6.00pm on wednesday to decide what to do, and whichever option they choose, he'll play againts us.

But that could be bollocks obvioulsy.

I assume it depends when they accept it

Ah okay. So they might just delay their response so he can play against us I guess.

That's what i was led to believe was an option for them.

For the record, I wouldnt sign Agger, Reina, Johnson or Gerrard either for different reasons, should none of them start again for the club?

It's about the here and now, he's a good player and should start if he's fit whether I'd pay 500k or £30m for him is irrelevant.
That's a very long winded and pointless way of avoiding writing no.

.no said that if they accept the ban he will NOT play against us

I answered the most pointless question I've ever been asked earlier in the thread. What relevance would I buy Jay Spearing from Wigan if I was Liverpool manager has to do with a fixture against Man City at home I don't know!

Untrue. He'd only play against us if they appeal the charge.

                          And they have accepted it.

It's not an option for them at all. They have until 6pm tomorrow to decide - if they appeal, then the ban waits til the outcome of the appeal. If no appeal, the ban kicks in immediately.

They are not going to appeal it.

Assuming Spearing isnt fit of course
Not a bad shout at all.

Agger is so tehnically superb that he could slot in that position and actually do a good job.

Or stick Aurelio in that role?
