I'm sure Shaggy can help out there.
That rug really tied the room together.

That's great news! I hope we see him, Wisdom and Borini back into the club this Summer as we'll need to add to the squad depth

Suso: Why I still feel a part of Liverpool

On-loan midfielder Suso has revealed how he's been monitoring Liverpool's progress from afar this season, while keeping in close contact with the manager, Brendan Rodgers.

Suso joined La Liga outfit Almeria on a season-long loan in July 2013 and has flourished for the Andalusian side, racking up 32 appearances so far this campaign.

The Spaniard, who was handed his Liverpool debut by Rodgers against Young Boys in September 2012, took his goal tally for the current season to three on Sunday, hitting a crucial winner against Espanyol.

Back on Merseyside, his teammates have stormed to top of the Barclays Premier League, slipping momentarily on Sunday when Jose Mourinho's Chelsea halted a stunning 11-game winning streak.

Suso has been in conversation with Rodgers and members of his table-topping squad throughout, and as a result, he still feels a connection with what is unfolding at home in Liverpool.

"I speak with Brendan regularly, we are always in contact and I'm also in touch with other people at the club," he told the Daily Mirror.

"For those reasons I still feel part of the club and, when possible, I have watched the majority of their matches this season."

Suso proved a decisive influence on Sunday afternoon when Almeria boss Francisco Rodríguez introduced him to the action as a 55th-minute substitute away at Espanyol.

Almeria had trailed at the interval; however, they were soon level before Suso swept home a wonderful free-kick to earn his team a boost in their bid to maintain La Liga status.

"It was one of the best goals of my career," said Suso. "But not just because it was a free kick, but because it was so important in regards to the situation of this club."

Ibe will be looking forward to getting back.

Birmingham lost again at home and look likely to be relegated.

would he play instead of allen, maybe along side henderson?
Are you saying we only need 11 players?

nah, just a little unsure of where he will play his best.

I think he'll probably play his best in exactly the same position as Raheem which is as a no.10 - but like Raheem - he's gonna have to be flexible and learn to be effective in each of those 3 forward positions behind the striker.

It's all about having possibilities, no?

I actually think Coutinho is best a little deeper than no.10 where he can pick those amazing through balls.

Watching Soccer Saturday yesterday and Alan McInally was raving about Jordon Ibe's contribution to Birmingham's heroics. Came on as sub 2nd half I think and was apparently unplayable. Can't wait to see him develop.

Hasn't he essentially been a bit part player for them in his time there? - I would expect he would be loaned out somewhere for next season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Continue this thread or start a new one for the season?

Either way, the current list looks something like

                              Joao Teixeria - Brighton
                              Divock Origi - Lille
                              Andre Wisdom - West Brom
                              Iago Aspas - Seville
                              Luis Alberto - Malaga
                              Brad Smith - Swindon Town
                              Rafa Paez - Bologna

with Ilori about to go to Bordeaux. Presume there could be another couple on the way out on loan too.

Seems Wisdom had a pretty mediocre game for Brom yesterday, I've seen ratings of 5/10 and 2/5 for him in a couple of random match reports. We could do with him showing a bit more than that if those are accurate if he's to keep the RB place ahead of that Costa Rican full back they just signed.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                              Mine angry and defrauded young?

I can't see Wisdom making it as a rightback. He seems to have the tools to be a decent centreback but he's hardly played in that position.
I wear my heart on my profile name.
