He's a complete fraud as a CEO. It's like Hodgson managing us. It just doesn't work.

Comolli's policy at Tottenham, St Etienne and with us isn't great at all. More misses than hits.

i'm sick of the sight of Stevie and Stuart Downing not beating the 1st man for corners - the only person we have that comes anyway close to hitting corners is Bellamy.

I have been repeating this on multiple threads. I share most of Shaggy's concerns with the current team. I have to disagree with Craigs assertion that other than 3 or 4 times, we have played very well. In fact I think the number of times we have played badly is marginally higher than the number of excellent performances.

I am not saying KK should go. I believe he should be given another year atleast. I do have concerns about the scouting and whether there is actual discussions between the managers and the scouts. You look at the best performances from last season I cannot see traditional british players fitting with that style of football. Suarez, Max, Kuyt, Meireles running around, pulling defenders from their comfort zone, quick one touch passing. We seem to have torn up that blue print at the beginning of summer. Most of the players ( barring Henderson who appears to have the potential to fit in such a team in 2 years time) don't seem to fit that ideology. Our summer signings appear more Martin O'Neillish.

In terms of management, I believe Kenny is more Ferguson than Rafa. If he has the right tools or players we will play very effective attacking football which can be too much for most teams in the league. However without the tools, he wont be up to much. Who was the architect behind the summer signings? The answer to that question is the key to our clubs future.

The amount of money we have wasted since the Keane signing is mind boggling.

You can try and derail the thread if you like and go over your favourite old ground, but your scapegoating of our best player is pointless and strikes me as more than a little odd.

No matter how you spin it with this "performances" stuff", our league position, our points tally and our goals scored are all completely unacceptable. Kenny has had more support than any LFC manager in recent memory, from fans, media, whoever, and has had more money. Yet we're doing worse than ever.

This has been season of frustration with few ocassional highlights like Carling Cup and if it wasn't for that win we would not even qualify for Europa League this year, which is unacceptable given the investment in the team since last January (net or gross who gives a ****. Money is money)

For many I think this feels worse because it's Kenny and he was able to spend a lot of money on new players - yet we're not much better....and that hurts.

Terrible ROI and it is becoming more and more obvious that we have done some bad beyond belief buys that were not pocket change purchases.

It's a results business, **** performances.

And besides they're not all that much better anyway.

Performances have been all over the map but the results were especially in the league totally unacceptable.

That cannot be sugar coated.

Suarez is the most frustrating player we have (in my eyes)

Carroll, Henderson, Adam and Downing are much more frustrating to watch (in my eyes).

Get more quality around him. We need much better and more intelligent wide players, a more attacking role for Gerrard and give him better support than he is currently getting.

We have already seen glimpses of what he can do when he has quality players around him like Gerrard. We need more of that.

Suarez is not our problem.

People slagging Suarez off ffs. Lets sell him in summer and keep the same squad and see what happens. He is by far our biggest attacking threat, by masses in fact. I still don't think he was bought to be a finisher, yes he got goals in Holland but he was bought to partner Torres, but instead now he is stuck next to Carroll who isn't exactly ****ing prolific is he. Suarez now has to lead the line himself which is a job he is not suited too. Imagine him and an in form Torres in the same team, we would be unstoppable.

Also FWIW I thought Downing played well last night and has gradually got better over the past few games, and Coates' goal was awesome.

I don't know, but I think it's favourable and he should have started last night. To be honest I think he's being mis-managed.

Absolulely. He can be dropped once or twice to be tought to increase his workrate as the spot in the team is not guaranteed but he has been dropped even when he played well and that "play-one-sit-one" approach doesn't help his confidence a bit.

Doesn't get away from the fact that we should be competing with the big teams for the top four places and we are doing doing significantly worse than they are despite them appearing determined to **** themselves up.

Lec, performances are much better sometimes, but nowhere near as much as you make out & still a long way from where we should be (& I mean 4th not 1st by that).

But not beating the first man from crosses drives me mental.
