It really hurts when i think DC and KD preffered Henderson when Gotze was offered to us more than when we paid 35m for Caroll.. Gotze would hav been a dream signing... I cant understand why they would prefer Hendo... though I like hendo he can never be as good as Gotze...

Well Henderson is British isn't he? Dalglish wanted more Brits to increase the banter level in the dressing room, hence all the duds he bought. Goetze's obvious ability was less important to our manager than how good his banter would be. Isn't it obvious that this was a masterstroke?

As for the Gotze/Henderson stuff, I'm calling it bull****. It's like saying we wanted Iniesta, but Allen was the priority. Getting a bit tired of Rory Smith too, acting like a tabloid style journalist.

Buying Carroll after only 6 month stint in PL was a terrible decision but going after Downing instead of Mata was **** up of all ****-ups.

Having a player like him last year could have easily saved Kenny's job and had us in serious contention for CL spot.
