I want to think like that mate I really do but it seems that day will never come.
I've got nothing that I can even counter argue the cunts with this is the thing.
I don't know what I'd do without the belief that things like Istanbul can happen again. After that match, I'll never doubt the club again. Especially when we do not have the full set of information of what is going on... have to believe. Just me, maybe.

it kinda ****s me off when people use the whole franchise attack on the owners. they've not referred to lfc as a franchise once that i know of. they call the red sox a franchise, because baseball teams are called franchises.
Roberto martinez turns up with his powerpoint presentation detailing his tactics and his plan for the next 5 years.
AVB turns up with his assistants and talks in depth about his style of play and the relative weaknesses and strengths of the other big 6 and how he would go about beating them.
Brendan Rogers turns up with a big bucket of muffins and some coffee and talks about how big this opportunity would be for him and how he would grow into the job.
Finally, Rafa turns up with a an A0 poster of him holding the Champions league in Istanbul.

It's the same thing in their mind though. Semantics. They're a bit better at PR.

i think you're making quite an assumption there. in fact i think you've been making an awful lot of them over the past month or so, and it gets right on my tits.
i don't have a personal problem with you or anything fredo, but you haven't half jumped to a few conclusions lately.

You'll be telling me next they aren't in it to make money and it's not a business to them.
Associates of former Liverpool manager Rafa Benítez have also approached the club to request an interview with the American owners, Fenway Sports Group. Liverpool insist there is no prospect of Benítez returning.

It's also rather offensive to assume that all American owners are the same. Your lumping them all together as the last owners said we were a franchise.

I always believe even amidst all the bollocks, ****e and general negativity that we will one day be the envy of everyone once again.
I am negative generally as a person when it comes to my own personal life but when it comes to the club I love I am generally positive and optimistic I know it might not seem that way after what I've posted but it's reading peoples tweets, posts and comments and **** drivel that Journo's write that kills me off.
I like you will always believe that we're capable of getting another Istanbul style moment which is why I think we can still attract someone like Guardiola to the club as well as big players.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
So far they, bought the club when it was really in the ****, did not load it with debt. Said they would assess things, took however many months that was and sacked a hughly unpopular manager, hired a manager which the fans were crying begging for, backed him to the ****ing nines, he ****ed up, they took the really difficult decision and did him a huge favor by showing him the door now rather the cluster **** that would have been his reputation if he took the teams form into the new year. They are working on the Stadium, **** that big as we all know does not happen over night, they waited to the end of the season and they have got shot of most of the operational dead wood.
This next manager, will be there manager, not ours, not the previous owners ... lets just wait and see who they put in place and judge them then.
Personally I really like these guys, I like what they have done thus far, they are guilty of trusting the people in Liverpool too much because the people there have had there shortcomings in some areas shown up this campaign just gone, biggest of all PR. The fired that man. Lets see were we stand at the end of the summer. Lastly in time I dont think the signings we have made or the price we supposedly paid will look as bad as people are trying to make out, Andy Carroll particularly will only continue to get stronger and stronger
Gutted if Klopp isn't interested. For me its vital that we get a young manager who is aggressive and not intimidated by the old heads in english football. Someone who is afraid of no-one and willing to attack and beat the top teams.
I like Martinez for this reason. He's got the right mentality and he is capable of getting **** players playing well and beating teams they would otherwise not have the belief to beat. He is passionate and lively and I actually think he could be great for us. People will have such low expectations and he will put aggression into the team
Why do you say that about Martinez? Bruce had them at 11th in the league and since Roberto has been there they've finished 15th and 16th twice, hovering above relegation. I don't see what the deal is with him at all.
