If he were to come, I'd obviously give him the benefit of the doubt and support him and hope that we succeed, however I just think it's the wrong time to be drafting in an inexperienced manager and seeing whether it works. I'm also quite positive in life, so I have already pictured him coming in and blowing the place apart with new, fresh, exciting ideas and that it all goes according to plan, just as it did with Di Matteo... **** knows. Where's Rafa!?

As long as (some) so called supporters give him longer than 18 months. I mean, there were a few (minority) on here calling for Kenny's head when he was less than 12 months in the job.

But that's not FSG's logic. Kenny came in as a short term fix for Hodgson. Anything after that was a bonus.

Rodgers is coming in with FSG's original grand plan: employ young and upcoming. Therefore by THAT logic he'll be given 2/3 years irrelevant of finishing fourth, at least first time round.

Nobody expects that to happen surely? An improvement on 8th and significantly more points than a measly 52 will suffice for the first year.

At least martinez has had afew seasons in the premiership whereas rodgers has had one season.

if rodgers gets it over martinez then fsg look lost to me. You need to ask questions as to who is advising them because that person or persons is taking the piss.
