I'd love us to go for Donny van de Beek. He'd be a brilliant Milner replacement and the perfect Klopp creative grafter.
    Was muß, das muß.

We've scored 87 goals in the PL this season. Complaining more goals aren't coming from midfield is nuts, if there were more from midfield it's highly likely that Mane and Salah's goal contributions would have been less and we'd also have played a different way this season.

We'll no doubt strengthen and look to improve what we've got but we've done amazingly well this season.

I think the job our midfield do on covering for rampaging fullbacks is vastly underappreciated. We also play with 3 forwards.

Tactically the midfield three have to be immense, hence the reason it has taken Fab and Nab so long to settle. Wijnaldun, Milner and Henderson are our unsung heroes. Their job is not scoring goals.

I just can’t find a single accusation to throw at this team that sticks.

If you step back and look at points on the board, goals scored and clean sheets. It's a system that works. Klopp wanted a second way of playing but due to injury with Fekir, Keita and AOC it's not been possible.

I think our main signing this summer will give us an extra way of playing

Goals from our midfield isn't their job

Glad to see my motivational talk reached jurgen and the lads, ****in **** midfielders the lot of you.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Tonight brings with it huge belief that will carry us for years. Back to back CL finals.

What a statement. Made without 2 of our stars.

Players all over Europe will be queuing up to be part of it. And for those that we already have why the **** would you leave to Barca or Real now?

this is where its at... cant see any of our main boys (klopp, salah, mane, firmino) being lured elsewhere.

Given we look to be fairly stacked in middle and light up top. I wonder if we'll see more of a 442 next season. Season before last there was the West Ham away game were we played 442 with AOC one of the wingers also Brighton last day of the season were we tried 424.

Could see more of that and it also allow Mane/Salah to rest a bit more as one of the front 2 rather than track back so much, not sure if it would limit our full backs having an extra body wide with them.

The fabled diamond could came back with a narrow 4 following space out wide still.

There is no way we could get through this season using 433 imo unless Origi/Brewster get serious minutes or Lallana/Keita find themselves up there.

Having fabinho as a midfield enforcer allows us to play a more efficient diamond, with the 10 (firmino) coming through to be the extra striker when in attack, and without the ball he is ready to press the opposition.

A narrower 4-4-2 diamond would suit Divock more, also (whilst playing to ourmidfield strength in depth). Good call

Probably already been posted. But this was our Tactics board from against Bradford. Interesting stuff. But I guess its nothing you wouldnt see from watching the game.

At least it's more pleasing on the eye than Woy's infamous flip chart.
