Thanjk you.

Mad how we've played 12 home games this season and not kept a single clean sheet. We're worse at the back than last season, the front three have scored fewer goals, yet we're winning every single game
Even weirder how were still in touching distance of City's goal difference

Aye...What the hell is going on here, Klopp?!!!
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!
I think that fact we are conceding more goals and not kept a clean sheet is down to the subtle change of style we have adopted this season, where we are pressing a bit higher up the pitch. At times, our transition from attacking to defending hasn't been as it should be and we've not been compact enough in the counter press, so we've been prone to exposing our back 4.

I feel this season is a hybrid of last season and the season before. Its a fine balance, but it is functioning
One thing I have noticed and it is very impressive. When the longer balls are played, the receiving players control of the ball has been proper good. I wonder if this one touch control is a focus in training
gone under the radar but when do we ever lose the ball from a throw in?
We have so many drills to get a man free and most of the time its just about getting the ball to one of ours and sending it backwards to build another attack, sounds simple but no one does it like us.
When we get throw in high up, teams are trying to block us scoring immediately when we are quite happy to clear their box of men, Bobby to come and get the ball and knock it backwards, the other team think they've defended well and the clear out only for us to hit them.
Its also amazing how we manage to get VVD free on corners/set pieces to have a clear path to the ball. If the opposition are overly focusing on him we'll just keep him away from where its going to go giving loads of space for the rest like the Mane Villa goal.
Loads of little gains which add up with enough repetition.
All the talk of us not playing well scrappy etc, we're just not doing it in the most conventional way
Reminds me of something I read from RoyHendo on RAWK:
We’re refining what 2003 England Rugby (based on the work of a guy called Paddi Lund) called the “Critical Non-Essentials” to a level where we win without needing to play well. Control second balls and set piece plays (offside, throws, corners, goal kicks and so forth). And then eventually we start to play well.
