Thanjk you.

Lallana and Coutinho have finally worked out how to play together. The crablike football is gone and we're always looking for gaps and weak links in defensive chains. Lallana takes up some good unspotted positions while Coutinho wreaks havoc with defensive midfielders' and defenders' knees by twisting and turning like he's on FIFA15.
A team with Sterling, Lallana, Coutinho (when on form like now) and Markovic should be too much for most premiership teams. Even if we're conceding and not scoring at a good ratio. I'm quite excited to see our forward line headed by Origi. He's the missing piece of our jigsaw (forget Sturridge, we're not seeing him again).

He'll give up football and move to America in the hope of becoming a rapper.
So assuming the rumours of Origi coming in during January are true and Sturridge does come back from injury at some point in the near future is this our best line-up and formation?
Lallana has to be in our starting lineup, would just put him in for Origi and swap with Sterling on the position then I'd agree. Oh and Toure in for Skrtel I think
markovic has looked good on the right hand side.
i dont think that we have the same level of attacking threat down the left though.
moreno is fast but seems too easy for oppo defenders to read knowing he cant cut inside onto his right foot. has moreno not been as tenacious in the tackle as he looked when he first came in.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Bit of balance with a proper full back on the other side though.
id say that the more solid dm of lucas [without gerrard] has allowed more time for the defence to step out and intercept without over committing. this means mignolet is less panicstricken.
the three at the back is a better option for the GK too. three proper CBs know better what to do, rather than two CBs and gerrard flitting in and out on a whim. look how rarely lucas crosses the CBs lines. lucas makes himself the first line of the defence, ensuring the CBs are then able to step in and challenge for or collect the loose ball.
he now has an option to play it left or right without it being a big panic. can skrtel and sakho have been decent at bringing the ball or playing it between them without too many brain farts.
it wont be too long before we see lovren brought back so we can then move can into midfield. i wonder if brendan will first play lovren alongside can so he can ease lovren back into the swing of things without flapping mignolet too much.
it was nice to see can eased into midfield. the reintroduction of lovren into the defence is also good as it means we can better use can alongside hendo in midfield. lovren not playing centrally should mean that, with skrtel behind him, he wont be as prone to brain farts and even if he does jump in too much he has some cover behind him.

Agree. It's the perfect time to reintroduce Lovren. Confidence is back, we're playing well, the defense is settled with Mig, Sahko (for the most part) and Skrtel settled in this formation.
As well as his 'defending', I worry about Lovren on the ball. Having Can and Sakho flanking Skrtel, with their excellent use of the ball, is a big plus. Lovren is ****e on the ball.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

All our defenders are ****e on the ball compared to Can. I thought Lovren did ok when in possession over the last two sub appearances. When on form he's a better passer than Skrtel, no?
