I love him to bits but he over complicates things too often. I'd have hooked him tonight, nothing he tried came off

EDIT:- and the moaning at decisions does my head in. Compare him to Sterling who gets fouled just as often but gets up and gets on with it,no looking to ref's no moaning.just play.
I agree. Rodgers needs to sort it out. Tell him to keep it simple and to include his teammates more. I think Rodgers probably encourages him to play like that though thats a problem. He should take example from Assaidi. Assaidi uses his trickery at the right moments. He waits for his moments and it pays off.

The goalkeeper must have 2 hands on the ball so no player can attempt to take it?

Nope - it was in his hand therefore the keeper had control of the ball.

Didn't know that rule. I was wondering why Agger was arguing so much.

Also what is the official football rule book and who wrote it? Is it like the bible? Its been passed about between everyone and now nobody has a ****ing clue what its all about.

I think because the yellow card seems humourless and harsh. It was clearly the right decision by the letter of the law though.

                      Aggers goal should have stood.

I'd play Assaidi over Suso against the bitters.

                      Suarez wasn't that bad

This is going to be unpopular and I hate to say this but I'd play Suso and Assaidi and leave out Gerrard if it was me

                        ----------Suso----------
                        Sterling --------Assaidi-
                        ---------Suarez---------

I'll get absolutely slated for that.

Very impressed with that performance. We totally dominated the game and Assaidi looked quality and jones just looks better with every game he plays. I hope he puts real pressure on Reina.

I think that midfield lacks the ability to impose itself. In a derby I think that would be a big problem. Not completely convinced that Suso has done enough to suggest he is quite ready to be the pivot of the team.

                              Good result, good performance.

If we could find one or two players that can score we would be awesome.

That little turn by Assaidi in the second half when he bought the ball down was magical.
