Still think we're light up front for out and out goalscorers."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Daniel Sturridge: Liverpool striker in 'best condition' - Jurgen Klopp
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says striker Daniel Sturridge is in the "best condition" he has been in during Klopp's time at the club.
Injuries have limited 27-year-old Sturridge to 46 league appearances in the past three seasons.
"He is in good physical shape, absolutely," said Klopp, who took over at Anfield in October 2015.
"Daniel could be part of the full pre-season so far so that's very important. It's looking good."
He added: "[Pre-season] was quite intense, especially in England. He was part of pretty much each session so it's good."
Liverpool have been linked with RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita but Klopp would not be drawn on any move for the 22-year-old Guinea international.
"Nothing new to say about this," said the German.
"I cannot clarify anything. It's like it is, it's the transfer market - everything is open until 31 August."What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Does anyone think that picture of Sturridge taking a photo of the camel looks like he's holding an owl in his hand? It does on Tapatalk.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

Are you offering him a massage?Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostHe need a good pre-season and a decent injury free run. If he's able to to achieve that his fitness and sharpness will improve I reckon and we may see the Storage of old.
He's still a clever player and his finishing is world class but he's not dependable. I know he can't do much about being injured but he needs to work on conditioning and strengthening his body.

Firminho certainly doesn't fit that bill. In fact I think he's been poor for a long time.Originally posted by kubrickscube View PostHow come Chelsea are after Aubemeyang and Klopp's not moving in?

something has clicked in his head got some fire in this belly to prove a point this season, working in LA over the summer.
Being fit and benched so often and media comments such as Carra seems to have him rattled a bit, hopefully we can use him well

difficult seeing him breaking into the proper first choice 11, but still plenty of games and sub appearances

The number of excellent positions he took up in a bus garage called Crystal Palace's penalty area were outstanding. Despite often having 16 players in there he always seemed to have a bit of space to receive a pass. Henderson complied with some excellent balls but it was Daniel's movement that allowed the passes.
I'm coming round to Danny boy again. Can't see him not starting as long as he keeps his fitness.
One tit for another.

From last season's starting XI? Firmino and Lallana, i.e.:Originally posted by Liverpool View Postwho's dropping out?
Mig
Clyne Matip Lovren Milner
Henderson Weeji
Salah Mane Coutinho
Sturridge
Sturridge needs two men to keep tabs of his movement. So do Mane and Salah because of their pace. And of course so does Coutinho to keep the ball away from his deadly right foot.
Of course the injured (or feeling injured and sorry for himself) version of Sturridge would stink that formation out. Hopefully that's not the one we're going to see in a world cup year. One tit for another.
