Yeah. Great player. His technique is fantastic. Doesn't matter if he doesn't have as much pace as he is changing his game and with his technique, he'll be fine.

It's nice though that he's coming back into the team when we are not relying on him, meaning he can be eased back (like Leyton says). I still think there's a great player in there and I can't wait to see him back on form. Not sure the team plays to his strengths anymore so hopefully he can adapt his own game.Really?Comment

What a quality option he is and if he can stay fit he is our best option up top. Maybe Klopp is being smart about easing him back or maybe he just prefers Firmino. IMO Sturridge should be a starter in our next game.Comment

a while back he would have beaten the defender/s by himself with blistering speed and some shapeshifting changes of direction but he is intelligent enough to hold up the ball and draw defenders to make space for others.
