    Yes. Exactly that.

Let's hope he doesn't snap anyone's knee in training..
      Massive difference.

From the information we had, most of it indicated Coutinho was staying. he said he was happy, Klopp said he's staying, Club said he's not for sale. Every now and then some random tweet from nowhere would be posted and the masses were all over it, 'he's gone now', 'knew it', etc. F*cking drama queens.

The info we had on Keita again indicated that he was likely to join. We had the cash, he wanted to join and everybody in Guinea bought Liverpool tops. There was more articles to suggest he was joining than there wasn't, but generally the same people I allude to above jumped all over the negative articles, taking it as gospel. Now I think most of us have accepted that he isn't likely to join, but as it stand there is a much bigger chance that he will join us than Coutinho will join Barca.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Would make sense, it'll still be galling as and when he does go but I guess there is the opportunity to strengthen overall.

I love it soooo much when someone tells barca to **** off, I ****in can't stand them, their sense of self-entitlement and all that mes-que-un-club-barca-dna bull****, their horrible media, tapping up methods, diving and crowding the refs, but what I can't stand the most is all the love they get from fans of other clubs. This inexplicable "ooh well if barca want him then who are we to not sell" attitude, **** that, we are a club that wants to win **** once in a while too, if someone's head is geting turned by Barca than do everything possible to convince them they're already at the club that's right for them. Anyway, PSG showed everyone they're not untouchable, their team is not looking all that great for next season, if they get Dembele ok but they're also after Paulinho and some Colombian CB from Brazil. Their board is in shambles and they look completely unprepared for their post-golden generation era. I hope they go to **** this season and Coutinho won't even want to go there next summer. I read somewhere Umtiti has a buyout clause of €60m and only around €50k/w wages, maybe it's our turn to **** with them a little bit.

Also, I know I've been crytical of our own transfer activity, but I love how we have handled this in the media.

I never said FSG our or anything like that, I still want them to stay and I love Klopp as our manager, I just don't necessarily always agree with all of their philosophy

                  good statement from the club.
maybe its to show other potential signing our intentions to get them on board with the project, no.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Aye, think that's why FSG made this statement now, speculation would explode with Cout missing the first games.

I genuinely don't think it's just FSG though Klopp seems to favour his way of picking players which seems to narrow down to a few he thinks will improve the squad and unless we get rid of JK I think that's how it's going to be.

I think we have been guilty of not building a squad sensibly in the past. In fact I think generally PL clubs do this poorly. Very often it looks like everyone beyond the first XI (and maybe one or two well chosen subs) are just their to make up numbers. I'd rather we develop a squad with players who know their role(s) well and have tactical flexibility. Buying in players should be about getting in qualities or sheer quality that the existing players lack. In an ideal world big signings would be the exception rather than the rule. I tend to feel that people undervalue stability and steady progression.

I'd agree with that, too often we went out and brought players due to how they'd played the previous season and being attainable rather than thinking how they'd compliment what we already have in the squad. It does feel with Klopp that he at least has a plan on how he sees us evolving our squad something Is say we've not had since the Rafa days. TStability and progressions are massive especially for us both in the squad we have but also on making the most of where we finished last season and capitalising on it and ensuring we keep moving forwards if we can stabilise ourselves in the top 4 again as a regular fixture it will help us massively with those quality signings
