It's a farce because they're such a boring side to watch too. Jammy ****ers. Dislike them intensely.
We will **** them at Anfield. City too.

I'm more concerned with the other matches that we're 'supposed' to win. Confident though, provided we manage to stabilize defensively.

That was genuinely really funny, they didn't overegg the script and it worked. That bit about about Eto going off because he was so old lmao.

They need to stop us beating them and hope we "screw up badly" for them to finish above us.

Don't rate City either. We'll beat them by two or three at home and they'll drop more points than us in the remaining fixtures.

In summary, we're ****ing miles better than either of them, will outscore both of them, will also beat both of them and we'll win the league

All we need is City to draw one match and potentially it's in our own hands. Would still rather be in our position than either of theirs.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

At this point of the season points on the board are certainly preferable to games in hand, the midweek game for us is huge in that respect.

one bad result and city will likely be ahead of us with 2 games in hand, very fragile position

And their goal difference is better than ours. We won't be ****ting Chelsea at home either, it'll be a tight game and our chances of winning it will be largely down to how our defence performs on the day so I'm hoping for more like the previous two games rather than yesterday's showing.

I'm still confident we'll beat both and win the league.

It's easy to assume we'll beat Chelsea and City at home, but those games are not forgone conclusions. They are excellent sides who will be busting a gut to beat us. It would be great going into those games knowing the title was in our hands, but that doesn't automatically mean we'll go on and win it.

                  I still think we'll finish 2nd or 3rd.

Those two games are going to be massive and the ground is going to be bouncing. The chavs will **** themselves like in 05 and we'll win that game.

Defensive solidity will be vital in those two games.Despite officials making mistakes,we got zero points from those christmas games because we handed them both goals through errors.

I'd love some thing like that...or even Toure. Imagine the celebration with the player being buried under the squad!
Oh triffic......so while you're up the road jollying it up, it's touch your toes time for Rodney

Chelsea game will be bloody tough, Mourinho will set up not too lose and try and nick a goal.

How many points is going to win it this year ? 85 - 86 points ? Chelsea can get to 90 points we can get to 89 and City 93, not going to be easy we've essentially got 8 cup finals left

We have to assume it though if we have any chance of the title. This whole thread is dependent on us beating both those sides, the argument is whether we can afford to drop any points in the remainder of our fixtures.

Will be our hardest game no doubt, but if City keep winning he can't afford to be too cautious.

No it's not. We are in a title race and have been all season. If we fall short at the end and come 2nd or 3rd we will still have been in the race

I still think we are going to have to win all our remaining fixtures to win the league. Highly unlikely. Look at the stats. When was the last time any team strung such a long run of victories together in one season?
