Nope, that's about about as much as I'm willing to offer.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He's great when we're on the backfoot, have little possession and need to constantly defend. Basicallty, he's the perfect midfielder for a **** side like Hull.
That fundamentally not true, you just dislike him, there is a difference. Lucas' possession play is very good.

I've never been taken in by Rogers, I don't rate the guy at all.

        That could've been 4 or 5-1.
Do you only turn up on the forum to moan? The only match we have won where you've put in an appearance was Crystal Palace.

Apart from Arbeloa I would argue that all of those players were known commodities. Maybe some like Sturridge was underachieving but was known.

Hyppia truly came from out the blue.

Anyway, we are where we are so hopefully we can just keep on getting better players than what we have in each transfer window.

In what way? He loses the ball, doesn't get enough touches, concedes possession to the opposition midfield?

If we don't get a settled and well performing back 4 by the time we go to City we'll be pumped hard.

I don't think our midfield have been porous, very few of the goals we have conceded have come as a result of our midfield being to easy to get through.

You appear just to be slagging him off in general rather than arguing the point.

I think that's an unfair description of Lucas. He's not the Patrick Viera type that you may be looking for but he contributes to the stability of the team, we just need more creativity and in their prime dominant midfielders around him.

So we need to sign more players you have never heard of? We should boycott Sky and bring down the internet.

No, that's not my point and I may not be explaining myself very well. Let's move on.

You can see why we were willing to spend £30m on another attacking player because we are paper thin up there. Our first choice players are very good but after that its slim pickings, you can get away with having Moses/Sterling/Alberto in the side but once we have more than 1 of them we start to struggle.

As for what we're doing at the back I haven't got a clue! All over the place, no composure in midfield either. I would say Henderson is good at complimenting players in good form but on his own he has seriously limitations, when we're good so is he, when we're bad he looks much less effective/useful/visible.

It's becoming less and less likely Lucas will regain his pre injury form and Gerrard should be moved out of midfield because he simply doesn't have the legs to snuff out attacks.
Our midfield should be about breaking up attacks as quickly as humanly possible and then giving the ball to the players who can create chances or score chances. Gerrard should be part of the front 3 and Lucas needs to be replaced with a midfielder with more mobility.

Like he played last year pre Sturridge and was on course to finish the season top scorer despite the fact a lot of people argued he couldn't play there?

Did Toure manage to get himself up off the turf for their 3rd goal? That is a disgraceful performance against a wank side. Made to look mediocre. We couldnt even get the ball off them after they made it 2-1

The team selection was ****. Moses and Sterling were garbage as was Toure. Never looked like scoring from open play. Terrible, terrible performance. But to be honest I saw it coming

I wont be paying my £160 per month for Virgin now though so I am grateful

Anyway, how Skrtel can play left CB to accomodate Toure whilst leaving a £17m CB on the bench is beyond me. And to play Moses ahead of Alberto in this game was just weird
