Think sometimes we can say 'ah well but other teams dropped points as well and we're still only 4 points off top', but they're all missed opportunities. Missed opportunities to create a gap between us and rival teams for top 4 spots.
I think a point at Everton is a good result, they've been on a great run at home but I suppose being 2-1 up with the Allen chance we should have won but at the same time the game was lost with 2 minutes to go.

Hull for me in the worst result but we have the chance to bounce back on Wednesday, United play Everton and things could look pretty good again.

      You didn't like Nicky Tanner?

I know what you mean. I just have a bad feeling about the Norwich match though. We looked out of ideas yesterday attacking wise, until Coutinho came on.

Agreed we could have lost to Everton, but probably should have been 3-1 up. I think we should have beaten Newcastle too. I think people go a bit OTT when looking at the table and we have a couple iffy results. I think we've still done well to be where we are.

We were second before Hull? We had a good start, hence we managed to hang on whilst City, Chelsea and Utd had very poor starts (mostly due to managerial changes), but since the Utd game, they've all been rapidly closing the gap because our form has been very inconsistent, a little above relegation form. Thats a fact. I now believe the top 3 will begin to pull away quickly as we continue to drop points. I think we'll drop out of the top 4 over the next 2 weeks and won't get back in again. If you believe otherwise please feel free to elaborate.

Believing we wont get top 4 is fine, its the blatant lies you're making up which is the stupid part.

So if we beat Norwich and West Ham over the next 6 days will you turn up here?

Our form had never been abysmal when we were second. If you want to include Hull then yeah it's not to great. But the worst our 6 game form got when we were second was played 6, won 3, drawn 2, lost 1.

Even including Hull it's hardly a disaster considering the away games we've had in that time, definite room for improvement for sure, abysmal nowhere near.

Before Hull our form was mid table since the Utd game, thats abysmal for a club of this stature and now its 3 points above relegation. No lies here.

If you're going as far back as September why not include August aswell? It is because it makes your argument look like the load of **** it really is?

The manager is a "charlatan", our form has been "abysmal" since mid september yet here we are in 4th. Weird eh?

The fact of the matter is still that over the last 6 games we've taken just 8 points, if you're ok with that fair enough, but you shouldn't be.

I think I'm picking up what you're putting down, Tanner ... something about form mebbe?

Just so we can clear this 'form' angle you're taking. We are tenth in the form table which is pretty much slap bang centre. The middle of the road. Not title challenging form, not relegation form. Just ... well, average. Could be better, could be worse.

We've taken eight points in the last six games, three points more than Cardiff who have picked up five you say. Let's look in the other direction; it's the same number of points as Southampton and Spurs, and just four points less than Manchester United, Everton and Manchester City.

It's great to see a bit of spice in the football forum, Tanner. However, I'd suggest coming up with another angle on what you're parping in said forum. Perhaps look to our inconsistent away form?

Winning at Norwich is very important and hopefully this loss with make the players focus, every side has dropped stupid points this season we just need to respond well.

Teams around us will drop points midweek so it can put us back in a strong position, I think Everton could get something at United and I wouldn't be surprised to see City struggle away from home again against West Brom.
