If Stevie doesn't make that error then its a draw. Gutted for him, if we dont win the league he'll probably blame himself. **** happens though and he's been brilliant this season.
Its not over yet, but I must admit the stress of the title race has lifted from me. It's been a fantastically exciting season and whatever happens from here everyone at the club should feel proud of themselves. I am completely calm and happy. **** result, but at least we gave it a good go today. You can't win them all.
City have to win their last three games. Its not sewn up yet. Anything could happen.
It's good to see that most people are feeling positive again.
Too right. This club and its fans are about more than giving up when things go against us. It has been a superhuman effort for the players to put us in the position we are in, we should be very proud of them and the football they have played that has lit up this league, and grateful really that they have enabled us to realistically dream of something that should have been impossible. If they don't take us there this year then they will take us there next, I firmly believe that.

Spot on
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
City are more than capable of dropping points. The expectation isn't there any more so we can just play football. This is going down to the last game of the season, I'd love us to win it dramatically on the last day.

Only had to listen to how loud the singing was when Chelsea went two up.
If that does prove to be out title charge finished then we can look forward to next season knowing we play beautiful attacking football, will have a stronger defence to help at the other end, AND, we'll be hosting European nights again

Its Newcastle
Its at Anfield
90th minute Gerrard to win it 4-3
His own personal redemption
I hope Chelsea fans and all associated with the club are proud of the fact that, as Brendan outlined, they came to Anfield and gave us a dress rehearsal for, and tactical approach borrowed from, the caveman tactics of Tony Pulis' Crystal Palace. If even some of them knew anything about football they'd be mortified at the money they've spent only to play with no more ambition than keeping it tight and hoping for a lucky break, mistake or setpiece goal. If a League 2 side visits a Premier League giant in round 3 of the FA Cup and gets a result playing like that you take your hat off to them for being plucky and playing to their strengths. If a minnow came and wasted time from the off and tried snidey tricks you'd give them a pass, but when Chelsea do it, with the players they have (even 2nd string) I think it's an embarrassment, and Mourinho reveling in it like he'd just taken us to the cleaners with some sort of total football masterclass just shows him up for everything he doesn't know, the classless rent a quote windup merchant that he is. I suppose to approach a game with the objective of not allowing the other team to win, seeking a draw at best and then having a win plop into your lap is more than this soaring superclub could have dreamed of coming to take on a team that actually knows how to play football.
Anyway, it's gone. I was dejected at the final whistle but I can still see some hope. In the last few games I've begun to feel our name is on it and I still think that could be the case.
Three games in a week is not an easy ask for City and they have been shown to wobble at times
Both Everton and Villa are scrapping hard for precious points for differing reasons. If Arsenal screw up against Newcastle somehow it'll bring Everton roaring back into the fight for fourth
The onus is no longer on us as the perception is that it's now advantage City, and with the money they've spent, the pressure is on them to be perfect and bring it home.
There's another twist in this tale yet, I can feel it! Believe!
I understand people wanting to believe that City will drop points, and how Everton will give them a game, but the same was said of Palace, and they didn't, none of these ****ers will. imo.
to be honest stumbled across a few chelsea "youngsters" in town before the match and one on the my mates made some remark to them in a banter style and they came across like right arrogant little ****ers who nearly ended up getting sparked out not only by my mates but a couple of other lads
