He needs a run of games to get any sort of form at all, and never looks reliable coming in at short notice.

The whole team had lost shape once bobby went off and it coincided with Lovren common on so it wasn’t ideal. We seem to need 4 cbs with 3 seemingly quite injury prone (unbelievably injury prone in Joel’s case) and Virgil indestructible.

We saw a Sheffield utd CB kill their game at Newcastle and Luiz put on a genuinely calamitous performance for arsenal, Lovren committed himself too easily and we didn't concede a goal.

One good thing about this enforced break has been to put football in perspective, I'm certainly not in the mood to get riled about every decision and feel actual anger about anything football related. Everything is a little more zen in my mind. I'm actually surprised to see some have jumped straight back into it, especially so soon.
I am not a fan of his but personal slurs are not warranted. He has never been good enough for us but that’s not his ‘fault’. Let’s see out the season and he will move on which is best for all sides.

We have more than double Arsenal’s points and almost double sheff United’s points, so I don’t think we should be using them as a benchmark... I think Lovren is good enough to start in either of those teams, sure, but not good enough to be in our squad, and certainly not one of the highest earners in the squad..

We can’t have ambitions of winning premier leagues and champions leagues, and at the same time justify a players spot in the team because he’s not as bad as the weak link in 10th place arsenal! [emoji23][emoji23]

No more sticking up for him. I'd rather Fabinho was our 4th choice emergency CB.

I don’t know what kinda shape Salah is in, and obv klopp knows best, but when Lovren was coming on, I was thinking I’d rather see Salah come on for Matip, put fab back in defense and put ox back in midfield

It was going badly I recall that much.

Ah yeah. That’s right - It started with an ask of whether flowers were a good shout for a second date.

I can’t even recall what the Croat thread was? Someone’s date heading towards the friendzone wasn’t it...?
