Thought last night was his best game yet. I've given him loads of stick so it's only right I give him praise when it's due. This is looking like some turnaround and it reflects pretty poorly on Brendan.

With the pressing game we play it is fine for the Cb's to launch it long at times. We win it back far more regularly.

So far it's an exceptional turn around. Hes still prone to poor positioning (Defoe's shot) but generally his head or boot is on the end of most balls into the box.

I think i prefer Lovren Sakho to any combo with skrtel involved. I was full sure that Klopp would be looking to add someone like subotic to the team to play with Sakho....

The west ham home game this season I thought was the final straw with Lovren....it would be great if he showed a brilliant performance in west ham away to show that he has a career at lfc....

He's been steady at worst and dominant at best. Given just how poor he was he still has a way to go until he completes his turn around but he's shown he can be more than capable lately. Big test against West Ham though see if he can step it up another level.

Huge loss. The defence has looked much more composed with him in it. He's been our consistent player this years or me. Although I suppose it could be argued that he was our most consistent player last year too

Give the guy a chance! He's just come back from injury and was improving a lot previous to that.

Nah....i agree he is ****. Under klopp people started to get excited because he wasnt as **** as he had been but for me, the question to ask would be "is he a top 4 team defender?"

I think Sakho can be. I think Lovren would never get in the Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham or even Man United team....and they play a Blind man at centre back.
