Hard to believe it was this season when he had that absolute catastrophe against West Ham. Klopp has been instrumental in rebuilding Lovrens game and confidence that had all but gone. He looks every bit the £20m CB now.

Although he still makes me nervous when he's on the ball, when he does things instinctively such blocks and headers he's excellent.

I can't think of another player that has turned their form around so much. He was ****ing hopeless. Now he's a player.

Possibly the most staggering turnaround in form I can ever remember. I keep asking myself if he's actually playing great or if he was just so bad last year that a moderate improvement is tainting perceptions but **** it. He's great. Been totally solid since Rodgers left. Loves a header too. ****ing loves one!

I wonder how much of his upturn in form is from him playing the RCB position instead of playing LCB with Skrtel on the right? Considering he's right footed playing on the right like he is now must be a big advantage for him. And then the confidence improves plus he puts his trust in Sakho & now in Kolo & the manager believing in you = success.

Having a competent right back helps him on that side too.

His turnaround is remarkable. He's like a centre-back from the 80's ploughing through attackers, rushing to win headers and just coming across as all powerful.

Turnaround has been mostly in confidence I think. And doing things slightly differently when he's under pressure. We only need Mignolet to transform himself now.
