Yeah but what does he actually do well ? he cannot cross a ball .. he rarely beats a man, his defending is patchy .. he was a player with real potential .. he has not realized it, time to go this summer me thinks

I don't buy that he can't cross, I think it's actually one of his better attributes.

I like Moreno I'm not gonna lie, he has some great attributes, and well, he's just so likeable. Butttt he came really struggle and his mental game is not strong.

I think he'd be perfect as a squaddie, or even as a winger, left wing Moreno has been my favourite Moreno so far. I do think we need to look at getting a new left back in though unfortunately.

He's been auditioning for that role since he came here and he's not been that good at it either.

a winger needs to be able to leg it down the wing and time the delivery of his cross.
it has to be played in from 2/3rds to 3/4s of the way up the pitch [level or around the edge of the oppo goal area] and played early so splitting the space between the last defenders and the goalie for the strikers to run onto.

if he finds the defenders crowding him he then needs to get to the line and cut it back for midfielders to run onto.

its got to be fast and seamless, with no pissing about in the corners [are you listening adam lallana] so defenders dont have time to set themselves and pick up the now stationary attackers.

but mad albert [for the most part] just goes blitzing off trying to retain the ball but with little thought of where he is headed or what he is going to do when he gets there

He's really not very good is he.. If he was able to put in a good cross 9 out 10 times then I'd say move him to the wing - But he is limited and we need better.. We really need to move him on IMO

his defending 1v1 when aguero cut inside him and he just stuck his leg out - thats sunday league stuff. his body shape was all wrong, kun squared him up and moreno wasnt in control of that situation at all.

albie is either utterly brilliant or utterly garbage - there's nothing in between. I wouldnt get rid of him yet though, but we do need a new first choice left back.

Bring back full backs who can defend. Was Steve Finnan always bombing down the wing like an extra attacker? no. Was he reliable each game and solid in defence? Yes. Flanagan is well better. Play Moreno as a winger.
