Feel a bit sorry for our new signings tbh, they all must have come here thinking i'm joining the second..maybe first best team in England on form, a cohesive happy unit comfortable with their football identity, and on the way up, most definatley on the way up!

Gave an interview a month or so ago I believe and said he doesnt need or want a defensive coach. Just needs more time on training pitch to sort it. Carragher in to help would be ideal.

This as a solution just isn't practical.

For one Pulis is a manager; and the chances of him working second fiddle are slim to none. Secondly the reason that Palace, Stoke and the others were so good defensively is because he set up the entire team to defend, often enforcing some ****house strong arm tactics on top of this.

He's an expert in towards the bottom of the table survival football, so all we would end up doing is playing mid-table football whilst we are in mid table.

I think the main problem is our lack of balance in the team. Defensive midfielder(a proper one) in January really is a must.

Yes, Moreno should not have let his marker get across him, but we've still got seven players defending the six yard line, one on the line and a goalie, yet one aimless flick on bet the lot of them. I don't think it's fair to blame Moreno, it's our defence as a collective when defending set-pieces.
