Apart from that brilliant pass to Sterling -> Coutinho -> Sterling GOAALLLL!Originally posted by baitman View Posthe's ok. not much else really.
loves to get the ball and bomb forward. very rarely crosses the ball when running at pace. first he likes to stop, then take a few touches. he will then often play it back as the oppo defence have time to close down the forward pass option.
its very frustrating as we have seen him look excellent a few times but he seems to be more worried about keeping possession than releasing the ball early and keeping the attacking momentum going.
whats going on.Was muß, das muß.

how many times have we said that before though?Originally posted by Daffy Duck View PostI think he's done well enough for a 22 year-old during his first season in England, but I hope he'll show a bit more next year. Same goes for a few others, we've got an incredibly talented team right now and next year could be great if we manage to add two or three quality players with a bit more experience.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

TBF, I know I have been negative about last summer, mainly due to our strikers signed. But the age of our squad is so good that we'd probably improve between season with minimal reinforcements, due to them gaining experience, Origi is coming and Ibe might grow and contribute so that's two new players.Originally posted by SB View Posthow many times have we said that before though?* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I know it's not all doom & gloom but there's been so many false dawns over the years where if we'd bought the right 2 or 3 players we'd be in the race only to buy dross & go backwards. This years different cause we lost our superstar striker so it was like starting the rebuilding process all over again. We failed to replace Suarez with anything like a 20 goal striker plus Sturridge has had his worst run of injuries but we're still in the hunt for top 4. No chance of the title cause our competitors have improved whereas we are still a work in progress.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostTBF, I know I have been negative about last summer, mainly due to our strikers signed. The future looks bright but again we are in the position that if we can get 2-3 quality signings we could challenge next season if our young players continue to improve as hoped.
Sounds like Groundhog Day.

I remember the chance, but did it not come on a break, where Moreno was upfield supporting the attack? In this instance, it was not a case of going missing, more that the lad, quick as he is, can't be in two places at once.Originally posted by Tee View PostWent missing totally for that Coleman sitter near the end, but apart from that he has looked much better recently. He is young and has been said will get better after a season bedding in.
If we are expecting the wing backs to provide the width and get forwards, then there needs to be an understanding that occasionally they will get caught upfield...it's not a case of going "missing" tho, as that is harsh on the player.
