yeah same here mate.

he is not too bad going forward and working from the left flank, but he is a bit of a liability in defence.
without a world class left sided centre back [and thats not going to happen] to play alongside him we would be very vulnerable down our LHS.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

That's because Steven Gerrard is his Dad.Originally posted by kubrickscube View PostI like the fact "our Al" looks more like a proper scall than he does an expensive Spanish international footballer. If he wandered around Birkenhead with a pair of paint spattered trousers and brown reinforced boots, no one would even look twice.

On the subject of his dog, I just saw this
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/...renos-10153521Liverpool FC star Alberto Moreno's dog 'savages a neighbour's pooch' before being dragged off by defender
Liverpool FC player Alberto Moreno allegedly had to drag his pet bull terrier off a neighbour's dog in a vicious attack near his Merseyside home.
The Daily Mirror reported that the Spanish defender - who was walking pet Ali on a private road - is believed to have intervened and dragged the dog off after it sank its teeth into the Japanese Spitz.
A source said: “Moreno’s dog came out of nowhere and savaged the Spitz.
“The bull terrier is a nasty little thing and police need to act quickly before real damage is done. What happens if it turns on a child next?”
Moreno, 23, who joined from Spanish side Sevilla for £12million in August last year, got the pet as puppy to help him settle into his new home.
He and Ali have become well known in the neighbourhood.
Earlier this year he said: “ My dog has allowed me to settle much quicker here.
“He’s always happy, he always wants to be alongside you. He gives me so many moments of joy. He’s a big friend.
"When you lose a game he’s always there to comfort you.
“He’s always happy, he always wants to be alongside you. He gives me so many little moments of joy.”
“I always wanted to have a dog but my parents never let me, so when I came to Liverpool it was one of the first things I did and I have not regretted it for a moment. He is a big friend.”
The left back has shared regular pictures of his pet with his 265,000 Followers on Instagram.
The left-back chose Ali as he was an English Bull Terrier, a breed that appears in his favourite childhood film Toy Story.
He picked the name Ali as it combines his first name with that of his fiancee Lilia.
A Merseyside police spokesman confirmed the force had investigated the incident and said: “The owner of the dog had been spoken to and given advice.”
It is understood the Japanese Spitz was not seriously injured.
The spokesman added: “The owner did not wish to pursue a complaint and at this time no offences are thought to have taken place.”
Liverpool FC declined to comment. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
