Surprised no one has bumped this after last night.

Thought last night was one of his stronger performances for us. Some people were slagging him off at half time for their second goal

I mentioned that he was good in the first half of the match thread.

I thought he was arguably our best player in the first half. Great outlet always showing forwards and looking to make things happen. A couple of phenomenal tackles too. He faded after the break, but the rest of the team were showing more intent by that point.

It's mainly not worth posting about him as the usual detractors are never far from being on his case with brainless etc comments. He was getting pesters for not roofing that volley so as ever needs to do a lot to get any credit.

I thought his crossing was very good yesterday. Low and hard into dangerous areas that defenders hate.

He's a great player and I like him. Has lapses of concentration sometimes but he's undoubtedly one of our best attacking outlet and crucial to the transition phase of our game. He's key in Klopp's pressing game. He's likely to have more of a challenge for a first team place next year if we sign Hector but he will improve.

His job in an attacking sense is to offer width in attack which naturally is going to leave Sakho exposed when we turn the ball over & hit us on the counter attack. If we played a 442 or hybrid of that & he wasn't required to get forward as much we'd be less prone to fast breaking counter attacks IMO.

It's inevitable that he'll get caught up-field on occasions as an attacking FB, but as somebody already mentioned on here, he needs to make more of an effort at times to get back in position after being dispossessed. Has a habit of going to sleep whether it be laziness, tiredness, frustration or whatever.

he does often run back, but is then super guilty of ball watching. he will track a man back, the ball goes elsewhere, he goes for a little wander and the guy he tracked then steps back in and is like an extra unmarked man.

sakho will be assuming moreno will stay with his man, but after the initial run back moreno just watches the ball and has no idea where the opposition payer has gone.

I'd say the ball watching is the biggest criticism of Mad Albert, his pace and attacking instincts are good attributes for the way we play.

If klopp can improve aspects of his defensive play then he's worth a place for the obvious attacking qualities.

One moment on thurs when he charged back and didn't make a Lunge and we regained possession anyway. Glimmer of progress perhaps.

looking at that it doesn't look a fresh tattoo it looks healed to me,if it had just been finish that minute there would be redness around it and hints of blood also signs of some ointment on it.and then if it was a few days old there would be signs of a scab forming and once again some signs of ointment as you don't want any new tattoo drying out while it is healing.

Agreed bud, that Tattoo looks at least 5 or 6 weeks old and I'm sure someone would have noticed it before now IMO
