    Don't think it will

Flanno back in training. Lucas must be back soon too.

26m was the price paid. It doesn't mean he is worth that. If he wasn't English and England based when buying you'd pick him up for 8m.

Its not about Flanno being the key to solving all our woes. Its another option.

One that gets Can out of the right side of a back 3.

Just a really bad performance. Was pretty dismal to watch.. We were way off and the best team on the day won.

****ing sick to be honest. Going to be tough now.

Allen or Hendo could do with some rotation. Lucas coming back is timely but is he 100% match ready? The way we showed heart in the second half shows we can beat Arsenal away. It's been a season of winning games at away grounds that have been horrendous in the past (Utd here, Arsenal at OT, us at Liberty).

Sterling and Moreno won't be as shockingly **** as this either. I think we can still get top four just not as easily as I hoped.

We didnt have much control in possession. A few passes here & there, more so at the back/between defensive players and a long ball up top which didnt stick too often as knock ons & 2nd balls got picked up by utd players.
Couldnt get through balls through as the space was very tight. The build up play was quite slow.
Utd had 3 chances at goal, scored 2 & missed a penalty.
We had 2 chances at goal, scored one & just missed the 2nd (lallana chance 1st half) apart from those there wasnt much else for either team.
Overall utd played better & deserved the points.
Desperately gotta get 3 points against arsenal, that will be another tough game. We gotta win our remaining fixtures from now on to stay in with a chance of finishing top 4.

Didn't press as a team & I think a few decisions going against us meant we weren't as aggressive.

Infuriating as we showed after 30 minutes of the game that when we were going at them, they made mistakes. To me, it felt like the team were not high enough up the pitch and that allowed United to press us in our half & allowed them to pass for fun in their own half.

I think the finish to the game will give us some heart, but Arsenal now looks a must win and that is exactly what we didn't want.
                      Forwards.......

                        Incredibly disappointing performance and result.

Genuinely feel very sorry for Gerrard. Great player. Liverpool legend.
                        Another MASSIVE game

                            **** in the first half.

Moreno was dreadful and responsible for both goals conceded.

                            Sterling is wasted at RWB.

Lallana isn't strong enough and fast enough to play in our big games IMO. A front 3 of Sterling, Sturridge and Coutinho should be there and Lallana on the bench.

Half time Brendon changed it. I wanted to see Lucas on for Allen to strengthen the midfield and to challenge the 50/50s in midfield that they won throughout, but instead Gerrard came on and wasted a number. This isn't a knee jerk reaction, but I wouldn't be upset if I didn't see him play again - our strongest team is without him and has been for a long time.

I think Johnson would have been better at RWB, allowing Sterling to go up top. I hate Johnson and hope he goes in the Summer, but Sterling is wasted there.

We were bottling every challenge for the first 60 minutes and deserved to lose. All these comments about the ref being biased - I thought he was spot on to be honest.

Agree with most of this. Although I think Lallana is/should be great alongside Coutinho, he was a tad wasteful and un-sharp today. Sterling is pointless as a RWB

Sturridge isn't the player he was last season either

As much as I hate them, especially that uber**** Fellaini, they were really good for the first 30 mins. When a team plays like that, you can't play your natural game and are forced to defend. We were undone by some silly marking by Moreno, he made a bad decision following the wrong man

I also think it looked like (from the pub, admittedly) that we don't talk to one another often enough. There were loads of times when we dallied too long on the ball, seems like if another player had told the one with the ball that they were being closed down they could have shifted play earlier. We always looked a split second behind the game
