Perhaps the cruelest indictment of our season yet.

It gets better - Roachford has taken over lead vocal duties from Paul Carrack.

I honestly think we'd be best of throwing this one and doing everything we can to escape the Europa League next season.

I'll tip a bore draw for this.

Its too late now, we just can't drop enough points in time for that to happen. Its Brewsters Billions without the last minute payment to the hot secretary. The only way is forward and avoid Europa by getting 4th.

For me we ****ed it up at WBA.

Stevie Wonder could see that the subs brendan made were bad.....

Gutted. Because as ****e as we've been, the league has been crap as well. Put it this way, our team from last year would have won the league this season i reckon - ****in Aly Cissoko and all....

Still ... perhaps we beat Hull and WBA hold United to a draw ..... perhaps ... maybe we are due some luck this season.... United certainly rode theres for long enough ... could be 2 points with 3 games to go ..etc etc we'll fight them on the beaches and stuff like that

I quite like Europa League, even though it is not the strongest competition it gives our young players more opportunities and gets us used to playing mid-week regularly.

Was reminded today that Hodgson had a great record in Europe during his time with us yet Brendan is awful. He even rotated a lot while getting results. Fancy being worse than the hodge!

In fairness, you can put out second string sides in the group stage of the Europa, that only gets interesting after.

But Rodgers definitely needs to get it right with rotation.

And the Europa is no different from the Champions League until you play the big boys prem wise. In the CL they play Tues/Weds and then Saturday. In the Europa its Thurs and Sun. Same rest time as playing Weds/Sat.

The reason sides in the Europa do so badly in the prem in comparison to sides in the CL is because they have much inferior squads. The likes of Everton couldn't cope because they don't have a strong enough squad to rotate and put out a strong side for each game.

I think we have a strong squad with a few additions that could cope with Europe. And playing in a lesser european competition would allow us to give players like Markovic and others an extended run in their more favourable positions. So I don't see Europe as a bad thing at all.
                                Forwards.......
