I reckon we'll get the job done, all our players would still walk in to their team but fitness is a bit of a worry, Ilori, Jose etc aren't exactly sharp!

Very few of our players seem capable of walking anywhere at the minute.

Yep. I think Klopp really ought to play a pure U21s/loan recall side tomorrow.

It would be madness to involve anyone else.

Of course he can't take any chances, play the kids, who knows they might nick a win.
                      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

So do I. They'll all be out to impress. Just hope it's not a draw and another ****ing game as a result!

I think we'll get beat. They're an actual team, we'll be a hotchpotch of lads who've never played together. Absolutely no sort of unit at the back. We'll be all over the shop with Jose at centre half!

Oh well. What can you do. It's gonna be fun. Ace if we get a result, arsed if we don't. It's an U21 side.

This is a good U21s side that knows itself from last season bar Ilori and Teix. The only question mark is Chirivella, not seen his name mentioned at all recently (maybe he has a hammy)

I like the sounds of this

Jurgen Klopp has contacted his former club, Borussia Dortmund, with a view to signing centre-half Neven Subotic as he seeks to solve Liverpool’s worsening injury problems.

Klopp has no fit centre-backs available for Friday night’s FA Cup tie at Exeter City after Dejan Lovren suffered a hamstring strain against Stoke City on Tuesday night and joined Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho on the sidelines. Kolo Toure is also struggling for fitness.

Aston Villa cut short Tiago Llori’s 12-month loan, giving Klopp another option, but the Liverpool manager wants to add an experienced name to the squad and is in talks with Dortmund over Subotic.

Serbia international Subotic, 27, played under Klopp at Mainz before the manager took him to Dortmund in 2008, where he made more than 150 appearances and won two Bundesliga titles.

Talks between the two clubs are ongoing, with Klopp hoping to sign the centre-back in time for the third-round tie.
