Thanjk you.

The thing is no matter what is put out in the press or what is truth or not truth... he is still going to get absolute ridiculed this season by opposition fans trying to get at him. Can PR it all they want but can't change what happened, fella is going to get annihilated.
He's was a flapper and mentality weak before the final. If he got concussion that's poxy, have had it before myself but he's not good enough, get rid IMO and lets not **** about and end up regretting it during this season like we have so many times in the past. Be ruthless.

I'm highly skeptical about the concussion angle, I don't think it's hard to find a US doctor to turn a speculative theory into a diagnosis for money. But either way, I agree that we should buy a better keeper. Karius is clearly not top class, even when he isn't throwing the ball in his own goal.
The concussion IMO just seems like a PR attempt to try salvage something from the debacle, justify he mistakes and exonerate him somewhat. Not sure who is behind it but it won't matter though what's done is done, he could have had an outer body experience or been captured by aliens... he is still going to get destroyed by opposition fans in each game he plays.... mental torture for him. Every mistake he makes will be magnified x10 by media. Guy has a hard road ahead of him and I really hope it is not at LFC but I suspect it will be. Klopp gives players so many opportunities... sometimes too many.
We need a ruthless streak to become winners. You can imagine if we keep him as our no.1 and he ****s up during the season.. there will be uproar.
Here's an entirely different situation to explain another one.
I don’t think you can underestimate the fact that concussion can play a major factor in performance. Though Karius has been guilty of being a bit flakey the first mistake was outrageous (almost unprecedented) and this may in part explain it.
Did Karius receive a blow to the head? Yes.
Did he make at leat one uncharacteristic mistake? Yes.
Could the 2 be linked? Yes.
Are the club likely to be behind this in assisting with Karius PR? Yes.
But with the best will in the world he has received a medical diagnosis. So we have to take the concussion as fact.
The other question is why be so so desperate to not allow or accept the fact that the head injury could have affected the performance of one of our players during a massive game?
Because admitting all of that doesn’t mean we don’t need a better keeper.

Absolutely! If he was a decent keeper before this we'd have put the whole debacle down to an aberration and be looking forward to him coming back next year. Let's face it, for most of us the performance in the final just confirmed what we already suspected, albeit with lashings of extra hot sauce. Feel sorry for him and bin him off. Both at the same time.
The physician who gave the diagnosis isn’t some back street mug.
