1st pre season game so let's write em off and laud them in equal measure.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostAre you really basing that on 45 minutes of our first pre season game against a non-league side?
For what its worth I think Randall has grown because his first performances for us were horrendous. However I don't really think either are good enough, would love to be proven wrong though, we need local lads.

Sorry mate but I don't rate a local lad. Get over it. I've never been a big fan of Flanno & since he's returned he's looked a shadow of his former meh self. On the other hand I think Randall has something about him , especially going forward that I like. Yeah it's early days for him but that's my opinion.Originally posted by Chazza View Post1st pre season game so let's write em off and laud them in equal measure.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Why did you find it weird?Originally posted by kubrickscube View PostThought it was a bit weird that we set up quite clearly with wingers - Kent, Markovic, and Mane all played really wide.
When we signed Mane it was stated that Klopp's vision was him to play on the flank and historically, Klopp has set up with two wide men. Much of last season was Klopp utilising a system that suited the players he had at his disposal; this season I think we will see Klopp implement his own system, buying players that suit the system and train the players accordingly.

Well, I've been used to Lallana and Firmino used as wide-ish forwards, drifting around but can't honestly remember either of them hugging the touchline as Mane and Markovic did for most of their games. So, as you say, this seems to be where we're heading with the players we have and will possibly get.Originally posted by Muddled View PostWhy did you find it weird?
