I think i covered both in my answer, just seems like some are answering differently.

I mean, we all hope and dweem we'll win the Title every season.
Being a fan doesn't mean you have to temper your expectations with "realism". Klopp wants us to dream so I am.

We need a great season, and fortune to favour us on injuries too but Leicester city are champions so its not too hard too dream.

If we can eradicate the individual mistakes (or at least some) made by Mignolet and Moreno and have goals spread amongst the team, we should have enough quality to push hard for Champions League qualification.

We need a more consistent season from Firmino and Coutinho; a fit and firing Sturridge; Mane, Wijnaldum and Lallana stepping up to the goal scoring plate; and as a defensive unit, we need to be able to defend set pieces and defend a lead. If we can get all that to align, then we're in for a great season.

I think we'll take a cup this year and have a good run at a CL place.

It's gunna be tight at the top I think and no-one is guaranteed a CL place with 6 or 7 teams (depending how Leicester back up) all in with a genuine shot.

          Id go for that.

We need to do our bits well, and hope others dont.
          Pretty much.

A benefit for us is that Klopp had the majority of last season to see his players first hand and having time with the players to start hammering home his ideas. Guardiola and Conte are new to their respective posts with the latter being with Italy in the Euro's until late June. Mourinho has knowledge of the Premier League, but it's still a new manager in their first season in charge. Wenger still hasn't addressed the problem of why they threw the title away last season and Spurs are more than capable of 'doing a Spurs' so they are certainly beatable. Throw that all in the mix and as long as we've got our own house in order, then yeah, we can capitalise on other teams that may be struggling to hit the ground running.

I also think our summer business will create a healthy competition for a starting spot in our attacking third: Lallana will know that if he doesn't add goals to his game, Wijnaldum's there to step in. It's much the same for Coutinho and Sturridge has already commented on the pre season Origi's having. Sturridge seemed to thrive off competing with Suarez to be our number one guy; fitness permitted, we could see a keen, enthusiastic Sturridge firing us up the league.

Klopp talked about the training last season being more about recovery because of the number of games. With no mid-week jaunt to Europe, he's going to have a day or two extra on the training pitch ... in fact, I think I'm talking myself around to winning the damn league!

I think the high high intensity that Klopp will be demanding of the players will help us a lot. Our team will have to leave everything they have on the pitch or risk a bitch-slapping from Jurgen.

Just like when we nearly won the league, we will have a lot of weeks when we have one game a week. Obviously we no longer have the best striker in the world with us - but we do have a much better bench now. And we have hopefully added goals from other parts of the pitch.

            I can't feckin wait

Am very optimistic about this season. Think I am feeling similar about the upcoming season as to how I was when we were posting on here just before the 13/14 season.

I can see us being in mix this season and maybe for longer than many would expect us to. We have far more scope for improvement than the majority of the teams that finished ahead of us this season, and a little bit of luck with regards to the fitness of Sturridge should see us garner a significant improvement on our points tally.

Not sure if we can win the title, but right now I am expecting us to challenge and we might even do even better if we can add one, maybe two, to the squad before the window ends.

Despite the horrible fixtures, I think we are going to hit the ground running this season and get off to a decent start. A couple of big victories and a few hard matches out of the way will give the players confidence and that platform will see us challenging for title.

Whether we win it or not will depend on injuries and what happens in the January transfer window, but I expect us to be in a good position going into the second half of the season.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                  So it's dreams then, ok.

I think we'll win the Title, every cup we enter, and then go on to dominaate Europe racking up CL win after CL win, culminating with us overtaking UTD in titles, and Madrid in CL tropies.

                  Bloody easy this dream lark.

Seriously though, i go into every single season dreaming of success, this one no different, but if asked to honestly appraise our chances, i get a different answer is all, and tbf, the two things are completely different, dreams versus strength of teams etc.

I'm loving Klopp, what he's doing and how he's doing it, i'm finally content with the manager in place, totally trust and believe in him, and i'm totally, for once, unburdened by expectation, just enjoying the ride, whatever it brings.

According to Mane, he rejected their approach this summer and they were linked for 3 windows in a row, so somebody there clearly rates him.

A better return (or maybe more game time ) from our strikers this season will be enough to make up a hell of a lot of ground.

We got a decent amount of goals from midfield last season and if anything we look to have more goals from the centre and flanks this coming season.

Origi has had a season to get used to the league and Ings will hopefully stay fit so we have hard working cover.

Sturridge is key for me though. Fully fit there are very few strikers on his level in Europe let alone in England. Him fit and playing would probably mean a minimum of an extra 12 to 15 goals in the league compared to last season and that would be enough to turn a number of draws into wins and losses into draws.

If we can keep down the number of goals we let in, then we could be a right force in the league because we have goals all over the team, and even if we do let in a fair few goals we might even have the firepower to withstand a porous backline similar to how we managed during 2013/14.

First full season with Klopp at the helm, and him having time to impart his ideas and footballing philosophies? What's not to be excited about.

Difference being I genuinely believe we can win it this year. I don't believe that every year and didn't belive it until about half way through 13-14 but this season my dreams and my realistic view of the situation are one and the same.

If we aren't in it to win it, all of us, there's little point in being in it at all.

We won't in mate, no chance.

I will remain positive of course but we're bottlers, can't see it changing anytime soon.

Being positive and saying we've no chance, doesn't compute!

People said that about Leicester all last season. They said it about us too in 13-14, loads refused to let themselves dream. In the end they were right on that one but their pessimism did my head in. If you can't allow yourself to take joy from your team being in the hunt there really is little point. I reckon we'll be in the mix and I'll enjoy every last bit of it. And if we aren't, there's always next year .

Last season might have been a one off but think about it, 2 unfancied teams could have won the league and one did, in 13-14 we were unfancied and could have won it, probably should have. So one or more teams being in the hunt to win it is just as common these days as City or Chelsea being in the hunt.

We have as good a chance as any.
