Has there ever been a player with greater awareness of counter attacking opportunity from a defensive situation? As soon as play breaks down Salah is off.

I'm so glad we got his hair back from Delila and stitched it back on.

They need to find a way to transplant Mo’s brain in to Nunez’s head.

The composer for his goal is next level.

His goal reminded me of Coutinho's against Man Utd where he pulled it inside the keeper rather than aiming for the rest of the goal.

Lots of talk previously about Mo not being the player he was but I think this run of form is as good as we’ve seen him. He’s definitely not as fast (although he did beat Bailly in a foot race yesterday) but the rest of his game has improved so much.

Really hope he can dish it out against Madrid in the next game.

I think Mo is still pretty rapid, particularly with the ball at his feet. He’s maybe not quite as explosive as he used to be and we now also have Darwin who is incredibly fast to compare him to.

Yeah, I’m just joining in with a moderate post so I can evidence that I’m not purely a fanboi in the future: haha:

He’s incredible. So consistent. He gets marked against year one Salah when he scored 40 plus goals and that’s harsh. Every other year he has been just as productive and most other forwards in the Leavue would give anything for his numbers.

Still can't get over coote arms out and no foul for Darwin's goal. It's beyond clueless, it's an agenda.

He has been outstanding hasn't he. The pace and control of the ball running at that pace was incredible and then that finish. He's getting so many assists too, passing is so under rated. Fella is a machine

VAR definitely would have overturned that?? Surely??

Agreed however yesterday's 'assist' is pushing the boundaries for me.

I mean if he carries this form on into march and april. But 300k a season for three years starting next year. I have my doubts if he will keep that quality up. Im sure Edwards has his own spreadsheets showing statistics with curves and ****.

Not sure he would ever catch Rushies record, but he is an undisputed club legend, and Id love it if he did.

I think we need to adapt our play slightly to get him on the ball. I remember Gerrard played out his career as a dm. Massive mistake, imho. Shoulda put him in a Bergkamp style role. I wonder if Salah could be in a similar role. I think he would get even more goals and assists in the middle, with someone more pacey down the right.
