How do you rate the transfer window for LFC?

So a little pole to gather the average opinion of est population, or at least the once bothered pressing a few mouse buttons.

1-10 where 1 is absolute garbage and 10 being a perfect window (both within realism)

Personally I have to rate it a 7

    Positive
    Depth of squad increased.

First team slightly improved with Salah and likely Robertson when he get's adjustet to the team.

Strengthened lb position - much needed.

Extra depth in midfield with Ox and maybe freed up room for Milner to play there.

    Negative
Didn't strenghten CB position which looks worringly thin with only Klavan, Matip, Lovren and to some degree Gomez. Lucas now gone that covered last year.

Could have done with Keita now, but still it's okay gettin him next Summer.

A new Gk would have been awesome, but guess Mignolet will be alright.

    6 for me.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

If we're including the Naby deal 8. If not 6.

              We addressed LB.

              We addressed Winger

              We addressed depth for CM

              We kept Coutinho

              We failed at CB

              8/10

The quality of the players concern me, we spend 35m on AOC whilst City are bidding for Sanchez. Was Robbo really the best LB we could aim for?

Can't complain about Salah or Keita though.

Do we need Lemar to replace Can if yes, get a bid in now. Is Keita to improve the squad of just to replace Coutinho?

Do the owners rely on Klopp to much, to make a silk purse from a sow's ear etc. Coaching will only improve so much, the basic standard of player needs to be of the highest standard.

Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

4 - Centre back was the priority. It was the problem position last season and has been to an extent this season already. Targeting one player and ****ing it up that badly is very embarrassing for the club. And to have zero alternatives is just baffling. By the time January comes around we could be out of the title race.

We got in Salah (has been ****ing outstanding), Solanke (looks a great prospect and we took him off an unhappy Chelsea), Robertson (LB a problem position), Keita (next year maybe but still sorted an excellent deal this transfer window) and Oxlade-Chaimberlain (played Chelsea and pissed off Arsenal).

All of the above is excellent. The only problem is that we never got VVD and didn't go for a different CB. I refuse to believe that there wasn't a backup to VVD that wouldn't have improved over Lovren. I mean Bonnucci went for £30 million FFS! Not saying he was attainable for us but it shows the caliber of player out there.

                    A 7 for me. Add VVD it's a 9 and Lemar a 10.

I hope we go back for Lemar, he looks incredible and his price will only go up. Could be the perfect replacement for Phil.

I'm not including keeping Phil (makes it an 8) as Spanish window open and I'dve been happy to see the ****er go for Lemar.

Considering his back problem disappeared in Brazil I'd say it's pretty much certain now.

Ox - Thats why he left Arsenal and refused Chelsea so I'm assuming we've given him some assurances for him to play there.

I'd mostly agree with this except I'd say no CB is a bigger deal so 6. If it took halfs I'd say 6.5.

Despite the moderate score generally I'm happy though, as I much prefer us going for the right target and waiting rather than settling for 4th choice chaff.

And the amount of players choosing us over alternates (including ones who can't escape yet) is a great sign for the future.
