Ok so Spurs get in the CL, they still have the wages problem and some players leaving.

If Chelsea get in, they're not afraid to spend on wages but they have an ageing squad and some real **** in there.

    Yeah let's go Spurs then.

Chelsea were league champions 12 months ago, it can't take that much to refresh the squad. If their manager hadn't effectively given up and been waiting for the sack for the last 6 months things would have been different this season.

And Leicester before them and look what happened when they lost their most effective player..

Chelsea will lose their league winning manager and I reckon Hazard too. He's in the peak time of his career and will want to move to one of the very best clubs in the CL like Real Madrid (or us haha).

You've got to wonder the financial implications for Spurs if they failed to qualify for the Champions League. Their shiny new stadium is estimated to be coming in at around a billion quid.

I wonder if we'll see another Leeds under Risdale situation.

Totally different set up to Leeds both in ownership and how they’ve paid for things.

I think they are well set up financially, whereas Leeds were massively leveraged.

I did see an article which was saying that due to the escalating stadium costs that expectations of them being able to throw the money around on big transfers and salaries were miles off. Top four will be huge for them, particularly with the manager, who will definitely attract attention in Spain.

No explanation why but Salah is an anti-smite and the usual bollocks about 'always the victims' when Roma fans caused grief after the first leg. Not a single one of the tosspots referred to the pasting their fans got off Roma fans when they were not even playing them but a lot of them still used the victim line. Cunts to a man.

I'd like to think if fans saw this forum they would regard it a place with rounded opinions and maybe other clubs have smaller less well known ones. After all, even other Liverpool fans take the piss out of RAWK which is what other forums reference for LFC.

But yeah, from what I've seen of Spurs fans on their they are no better than the worst Chelsea have to offer
People talk crap on forums all the time (let's not throw stones etc etc).

But having grown up in London, I can categorically say that Chelsea fans at the time were among lowest of the low lifes on this planet. Proper pond scum. And that went for the offspring I went to school with. Degenerates.

Spurs fans, by contrast always seemed a bit more normal and civilised. Deluded, but civilised.
                Oh I don't know.

A chunk of the stadium is being paid off by NFL games.

Levy if nothing else, knows what he's doing off the pitch. Extremely shrewd.

I’m sure the NFL deal is only worth £10million so not that much considering the stadium is costing nearly £1billion.

Isn't that for just two games though?

If that lawyer that got sacked for his YouTube comments is anything to go by then you're dead right.

wonder how that will be affected if Wembley is sold and starts gettiing used for NFL as mooted.

A team will be based at WHL. Every year.

Wembley will also continue to be used.

                            The NFL are expanding.

2 games a year for 10 years apparently.
