Manchester City vs Liverpool - CL Last 8 (2nd Leg)
I also know someone that sat with their 'fans' tonight. I've done that at old Trafford and I wouldn't recommend it at all. No enjoyment no matter how the game goes
Do ppl arguing he’s onside not realise the rule is 2 players between attacker and goal line? Normally this is the goalkeeper and 1 defender, but if the gk goes walkabout, it needs to be 2 defenders. As Milner didn’t play the ball intentionally, offside rule still counts. Clearly offside!

Yes, but the counter to that is Karius intentionally played the ball, not the city player. Number of defenders not relevant as onside when the last city played passed the ball

I don't think you can really argue that Milner didn't deliberately play the ball, he lifted his knee into it. It should have been a goal, but who gives a ****? They still need to find another four from tonight to have a point about refs.

He certainly attempted to play it, but then that's not the same thing, and a deflection or rebound off a player is treated differently to 'playing' the ball with a controlled pass/header/chest etc.
I thought it was a goal at the time, but since changed my mind.
