That's before we discuss the foul on Virgil in the run up to their opener last night. Ederson should have been off. Four times he raised his hands and shoved Mane.
Well one of their complaints was Salah's offside goal in the 1st leg, so take that away and we didn't score 5

But yeah, the build up to thier goal last night and Ederson's behaviour are fair counters.

Take that goal away, give them the extra three goals and we still win the tie on away goals.

Bunch of dickheads. They really do think there's some secret agenda against them in the Champions League. As if you matter enough lads. Nothing club.

Read a few of the threads on their. Nasty bunch. Have a look at the thread about what they do to avoid the colour red. No red food allowed in the house etc.

I'm not sure what I want.

The home draw first against City worked in our favour and I think if we drew Bayern or Madrid I'd want the same. Blow them away in the first leg at Anfield, so they can't play their natural game at home.

I think the opposite for Roma though. I'd be worried about complacency if we drew them and if we didn't perform in the first leg at Anfield, we could make things very difficult in Rome. The other way round, I'd expect us to get a rsult in Rome and finish the job at Anfield.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

VVD was soft for the first goal but equally what the **** is Karius doing playing it to him, hes getting signals from both Robbo & VVD to calm down and maybe kick it long

Thought first half we chased shadows, our passing was poor

Second half we got a grip of them and not only started to win possession and close them down but also controlled the ball better

Great result and maybe we got a bit of luck over the two legs but sometimes you need this

Not sure many of the teams left in it will want to play us

Just for anyone planning holidays or whatever around fixtures in August. We will play Atletico Madrid (or maybe Arsenal?) in Estonia on August 15th in the Super Cup.

Surely has to be named Bobby. Works for a boy or girl.

The one thing I think we are forgetting is that Ederson should probably have been sent off when he reacted to Mane's tackle (slip)

Oh and last night confirmed what I suspected all along.

Ref hadn't have sent Mane off earlier in the season, We'd have won that game, City wouldn't have went on that unbelievable run and we'd probably have won the league too.

We had a bit of luck and with emotions running high during the game it felt like we could concede with every City attack, but on reflection we did what teams have against us, let City have the ball out wide in areas they couldn't hurt us and actually coped quite comfortably.

Obviously their goal had a huge slice of luck too.
