Thats what we have been saying from losing the other finals... yet here we are.

**** luck aside, half the squad are mentally weak. We need to sign a few arseholes with a proper winning mentality like suarez had.

So mentally weak they got to a Champions League final by brushing away - among others, the team with the record number of points in the English league.
      Oh I don't know.

            Absolutely gutted with the result

More so for Klopp & the players and also for my youngest daughter who is well into her football now. She was absolutely devastated Saturday and I really wanted her to experience the city when we win something big

Quite frustrating that we were a Salah injury, 2 goalkeeping mistakes and a worldie goal away from winning it but I suppose you can look on that in a positive manner (it looks like Klopp has)

In retrospect it was one of the strangest finals I have ever watched.

We were dominating until Salah was hauled down, then things became a bit more even, with Madrid controlling the midfield a bit. Second half had barely begun before the first horror show. Somehow we claw our way back in.

Then Bale comes on with a point to prove (I was actually delighted he didn't start, but maybe it would have been better?) and scores one of the best goals you will ever see. We still hang in and Mane hits the post, Robbo performs wonder tackle and you think... maybe, one chance and extra time.

Then Karius chucks another one into the net.

Some times it is just not meant to be.

A few massive signings will go part way to softening the blow of the loss. A new keeper like Allison is a must now.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I'm still depressed by my worst nightmare coming true.

I had a bad feeling about Ramos, but can't believe he got away with such a blatant and cynical move. I worry whenever Karius has to even come out unchallenged to catch a ball as he looks so nervous, but wondered why he wasn't awarded a free kick to save him from the first blunder - I thought that strikers weren't allowed to block clearances any more and strangely there is an 11 page thread on a Scum site discussing this.

Finally, could we not have brought someone on to play up front and stretch them a bit? I cant believe we played the entire rest of the game with no presence or focus up top - are our attacking options really that bad that they weren't worth trying when we needed a goal? In that case we should get rid of them... and for Gods sake then can we buy someone to replace Salah in case he ever cant play or needs a rest - all we have is midfielders it appears.

I have to say that I was surprised that Lallana came on for Salah. I would have gone with Solanke as a direct replacement. Especially as Mane was causing havoc down the left
