Today had been a hard day.

The disappointment and the manner of the defeat has hit me hard. Had Salah played the whole game I'm convinced we would have won it. Convinced.

And I've also had the worst hangover I can remember for years.

A hard, harsh day.

Feel the same. We didn't do ourselves any justice, the game didn't do us any and it feels horrible. Don't drink but certainly feel badly hungover.

That's the one. I was a little pissed but remembered him doing something out of the ordinary.

Absolute ditto. Atrocious hangover, had 3 hours sleep after a Friday bender, then drank from 2pm til 7am this morning....and the loss feels really bad. Can't shake the gloom. May be recency bias but it feels worse than 2007, despite our clear upward trajectory and reasons to be positive about the summer and beyond.

Absolutely gutted. Properly ****ing gutted.

I had to go into work today from 11 to 5. Last place I wanted to be.

Actually in a weird way it has may be aided the recovery as I had time to ponder.

Sometimes moments make or break a team. A dynasty starts or never gets going. Think mark robbins saving fergie and it was that close to the titles he won never happening. One moment in time defined his career. I just hope that wasn't the best it gets and we do kick on. If you keep losing when it matters we may end up a Keegan Newcastle and nothing more.

Back home after a weekend with mates watching the game and catching up on posts here + twitter. The Ramos ‘effect’ - he went to hurt Mo, no doubt about that and for him is was a ‘bonus’ in his mind that he forced him off as it improved RMs chance of winning. I have no issue with a player doing that - for me its win at any cost and I wish VVD, Lovren or Hendo absolutely buckled Ronaldo or Ramos. Imagine if Souness was still playing for us and he saw what Ramos he’d have ****ing broken him in two. The players tried hard afterwards but Salah going off changed everything as we were well on top up to them.

We need more high level players and we need nasty win at all cost ****ers - Kieta will bring that in spades next season.

It will be part and parcel of the game for as long as people in positions of responsibility... Those in the media for instance... and influence tolerate it instead of calling cheats cheats.
