I agree with retrospective bans, but in this case what would it achieve, I'm sure he would take a 2 or 3 match ban next season if his 'activities' won his side the CL.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Not our day unfortunately
We've seen how we struggle when Salah goes off, teams completely change, desperately need a quality player to compete with Salah/Mane
Could have done with OX or Coutinho in that game.
Ref gave us nothing, two howlers which cost us, but I feel like Madrid would have won regardless tbh, just sickening to gift them goals rather than make them earn especially in a European Cup Final ffs.
One thing about recent finals/run ins, we were about to lose key players/not attract players and the moment was gone.
We are very much on the up, and this came too soon in our upward trajectory imo, few more quality players in. If this game is what takes us to go splash the cash on a top class keeper, and we win the title next year i'll be alright with that
Hurts but at the start of the season I wanted top 4 and reach knockouts of CL. We have seen some cracking football and matches to look back on, just not for now.

His win at all costs mentality is grim & needs challenging. He identified Salah as the threat and took him out. He identified Mane as the next threat and tried to get him sent off. He is a disgrace.Originally posted by badpiggy View PostI don't understand the absence of retrospective punishments for cheating in football. Surely a panel should review games and incidents and act accordingly. Ramos at least should get a multi-game ban for the simulation with Mane. As for his judo throw on Salah. Words fail me. He's an absolute blight on the game. He's everything that is wrong and detestable in football.
Yeah, we dust ourselves down and the future is bright. If we continue to recruit well we should be there or there about a for trophies. The hurt from this will hopefully turn into a ruthless streak where we lose our naivety. I think this is the first year we have seen Klopps vision on the pitch and it has looked amazing.Originally posted by Liverpool View PostNot our day unfortunately

Absolutely wasted and allowing himself to finish with a bit of random racism.Originally posted by McDermotX View Post

Absolutely gutted. It was a bizarre game, they had all the luck, we had absolutely none.
Feel sorry for Karius, he's cost us dearly with those dreadful mistakes, don't think he can carry on as our number one.
We're just a totally different team witout Salah, have we ever played well without him? This is something we're gonnaa have to address in the transfer window.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

I'm not sure how much is not having Salah and how much is just the huge step down in quality. I like Lallana but the level he is currently at (hopefully due to a lack of fitness) is way below what we needed yesterday. As soon as one of our front 3 was out we were always going to find ourselves in trouble. We almost got away with it but last night it bit.Originally posted by cream View PostAbsolutely gutted.
